Sharne marched over to Bertholt and grabbed him by the sleeve.

"You. You're coming with me."

Pulling him over to where Kaldach was crumpled on the ground, she pointed at him.

"Heal him first. I need to talk with him and doing it while he's bleeding out is pointless."

Guess she and Brock were still fighting. Sam administered some basic first aid to the musclebound man, managing to at least stop the bleeding.

Bertholt closes his eyes and obliges Sharne's request for the moment, but only the slightly harsher tone of his voice lets people know he's irritated.
"There are other people in need of my attention, you know."

If they had time to drag around the healer, then the answer to Adams' question was yes.

Liam rested his weight on his lance for a moment, glad it was over, then went to check on the other cells.

Seeing the way the wind was blowing--and having no particular desire to overhear the inevitable lecture Sharne was about to inflict on Kaldach--Martyn made his way back to the fort's prison.  There'd been something about another person kept here, and if so, the man had no desire to leave him alone to starve.  Or to burn, should they find the place's oil stores and use them to take the whole thing down.

"I'm well aware. But his devil sword stabbed him and I don't know what effect that will have on him given just holding it was making him glow red and it was destroying other people. I would rather that not get worse. It felt important enough to have it be a priority."

Turning away from the healer, she helped Kaldach to his feet and then glared at him.

"Now you. You're coming with me."

She again didn't give much choice, and started to walk away, doing her best to steer Kaldach with her as she did.

Most of the cells were, in fact empty, one of them was not. The somewhat portly man held up both hands as Liam came into view.

"Uh. I'm unarmed." He seemed to be at a loss to what he should be doing.

Brock sniffs twice as if just noticing something. "Whats that smell? Ah, never mind. Probably just Sharne. Don't have bath water in the desert afterall."

Brock grunts under Sam's medical care, continuing to do his best to not die.

Liam glanced back at Martyn, who also seemed to be making the rounds. Best to leave the lock to someone who knew what he was doing.

"Wouldn't expect you to be. We'll get you out in a moment."

"I was referring to him."
Bertholt gestures towards Kaldach, before Sharne walks off. With that settled, he starts tending to anyone who still needs medical attention.

A dull clatter sounded as Bertholt's healing magics ejected the hellish sword out of his shoulder, knitting the cleanly-cut flesh into a semblance of normal. It took a moment before the body it fell from stirred.
: "...Grrh."
The mercenary only offered a weak grunt as Sharne pulled him up. As she did, Kaldach's left hand groggily but nonetheless immediately reached for the darkened sword's hilt and locked his grip, bringing it up with him as he was steadied.

The man put his arms down. "Oh. Very good then." He looked Liam over. "...You aren't one of the soldiers stationed at this fort, are you? Are they all dead?" He stepped toward the door to the cell and failed to manage to get a peak around the corner. "Did my father send mercenaries for me?"
