Kaldach took a couple deep breaths as he watched the fighter in front of him keel over. The massive tear in his chest was evidence enough to him that this Devil Sword still held plenty of power in its blood-soaked sheen. He nodded as Bertholt tended to his burns.

Wasting no more time, he placed the bloodied sword away and swapped back to the more mundane one. No need to waste its power away.

Farra's arrow had caught the swordsman in the arm, hampering his charge so that Liam's return strike had struck true.

Sometimes life was that easily extinguished - everything gone in a single stroke. In any case, now wasn't the time to think about it. He spurred his horse forward, dismounting to guard the others' backs once they caught up.

Esther finally manages to get into the fight proper - heading towards an armored figure, she sees he has a throwing spear and decides it doesn't matter if she attacks from range - she gets right up close with her dark magic.

Esther to 15-14, worm the knight.

Farra shielded her eyes from the storm as she ran to 14,16 and took a shot at Slayer C because one day she'll actually look at the map at which custom name goes with which class. They were so close to getting out of this, it was just a little farther.
