"I'm probably gonna grab a drink somewhere. 'Ey, Sharne. What kinda stuff they 'ave 'round 'ere worth drinkin'?"

  "I might as well check out some deals on weapons while I'm doing my shopping, anyone coming?

"Oh, and Liam, wanna see if we can find you a messenger? It's on my list anyways.

[Swordstar]

"That depends. Alcoholic or not? If alcoholic... There's this fruit, it grows in sheltered rocky places in the desert. If you let it ferment but drink it cold, it's amazing. Ask for a red fruit hammer."

[Gaterhyme]

Liam chuckled, giving a small gesture at the several weapons he was carrying.

"Since he's offering, I'd actually like to ask Bertholt a few things first instead of hogging all the weapons."

"I'll catch up with you afterwards, though."

[GiglameshDespair]

"Alcoholic, o' course. And try me. I ain't afraid of a little drink. 'Ad worse in Chilcenne."

[Aliemma]

   "Well, I'll see ya later then." And with that, Farra started heading off, first slowly, giving anyone who wanted to join her the chance to, but she quickly changed to her normal pace.

Bertholt lifts an eyebrow at Liam.
"Oh? Of course. Is this a private question?"

Farra soon found herself at one of the impermanent stalls, staffed by a bountifully mustached man from the plains of Kaite. "Hello, daughter of the sands. I bring high quality wares from the southwest. You'll not find a better selection in the marketplace."

"No, nothing like that. I was just curious about a few religious things, figured I'd talk at you while you looked at your staves."

He inclined his head towards the marketplace crowds into which Farra had just disappeared.

"After you."

"I see. Well, fire away with your questions, I'd be happy to help."
Bertholt nods at him in thanks as he heads off into the crowd towards a shop that sells some staves for him.

Bertholt and Liam found themselves at a permanent storefront, made from offwhite stone, different from the dull brown of the surrounding buildings. The man behind the counter wore white clothes, and had blonde hair and fair skin. "Welcome to the premier magical emporium of Salamandra! Let me know if anything catches your eye."

"In that case, follow me."

Leading the way through the crowds, Sharne was quickly able to find a small building tucked away in the shade. Entering in, she gestured for Roux to go ahead and order.

Farra took a look at the wares; they certainly were high quality. In fact, there were some bows there she wasn't quite sure she'd be able to use. Her bow was still in bad shape, though... And looking through her supplies, she had actually run low on medicine as well.

  "Why, you're right on that one. There's not much like this where I'm from; that's for sure.
I'll be back later, definitely."

Rule number 1: Butter them up, they'll remember your face favourably. Farra started weaving through the crowd once again, finding her way past lost tourists and into the Annecan flow of markets. Next stop, medicine shop!

[Lucus Casius]

They'd apparently come at just the right time, with the merchant in good humor, and a mass of fresh, newly-delivered fruit on display.  A few minutes haggling  lead to concessions, and when they were finished, Martyn and Sam walked away with a sizable sack piled high with dates and figs.  The cloaked man offered one of the former to the musician as they walked down the crowded street, heading towards a shop offering sharpening and a wide variety of knives the fruit merchant had directed them towards upon their asking.

  "So?  What do you think?"

[Sirus]

: "Delicious!" Sam enthused, getting fruit juice on her clothes and not caring a bit. "Maybe I'm just used to potatoes and onions, but I completely forgot how good fresh fruit is. I can't believe you managed to get such a good price for these."
