Blank Bodies: A Short Evolution RPG 4/4
« on: March 09, 2017, 12:23:45 am »

You awaken within a stone chamber. A blue circle of light glows on the floor around you. You are a pale humanoid composed of white flesh and devoid of all features. Many others stand dormant around you, awaiting their turn to leave the stone chamber. You have two purposes: evolve and escape. A closed door glows with faint red light on the far wall of the chamber. Step out of your circle to begin your journey.

Hmmm, K.
In.

Step out, observe the other creatures and their actions and then check out the door. If it's safe, then go through it. If it's not, then tell the guy who stepped out just before me, and also ask his name... somehow. I'll say/signal/mind communicate?/something else my name is Sir Lootington.

Finally have a game completely ready. Wait a week before posting it out of laziness.

Four Blanks step  out of their circles. Upon the fourth stepping out of the circle, the circles change from blue to red. The glow on the door changes from red to blue in the same instant.
One blank observes the door, it seems easy enough to open, dispute your lack of hands. Another blank attempts to communicate, but finds it difficult to communicate with no mouth, hands, or eyes.

Open the door, attempt to study the door, what it's made of, etc., to improve my vision.

Attempt to predict what would be on the other side of the door, possibly giving me visions of the future.

(I'm going to go ahead and update since there's nothing of interest within this room).

In?
Waitlisted.

Two blanks observe the floor and door, but neither the floor nor the door give them eyes to see with. Another ponders what lays beyond, but as it's consciousness came into being and it has no idea of anything beyond itself and this room, it cannot fathom what may lay beyond.

One blank, the one who was observing the door, pushed upon it and it swung open. Beyond the door was the remains of a long room. It seems at one point it was a hallway of some sort, but the right half of the room seems to have collapsed into a small cavern which shares the adjoining wall. From the rubble to your right, it seems as though there were once windows that looked out towards this cavern. The cavern itself is mostly circular, 100 feet in diameter perhaps. Water drips into a small pool at the far end. The area around the pool is muddy and has tiny nonphotosynthetic plants growing in and around it. Small creatures of unknown sorts make small noises around the pond area. At the end of the room is another door, it glows blue faintly.

Investigate the animals. Are there any clawed animals? If not, maybe I can find a snake? In terms my in-game character would understand, four legs? No legs or arms?
