Okay.  Best bet, in my view, is to tack to the right side of the map and work our way down, positioning our units as best we can in order to draw attacks that either have the weapon triangle in our favor or at least don't put us at the disadvantage.  All of the enemies are pretty fast right now--while we have a couple people who can double the knights, I think martyn's the only one who can double the fighters, and the others are all way too quick for that stuff--so we should figure that into our calculations.  Don't think any of us gets doubled, at least.

Also, Bertholt should avoid getting killed for the entire duration of the map.  In fact, we should ALL avoid getting knocked out, if we can.  We need to escape, and being downed is going to cause major delays.  Need to play this like we would a typical fire emblem game.

If we're planning for this map already, here are my general thoughts. I'm sure I've missed something, so give feedback and take with a sizable dose of salt. (and yeah i basically agree with lucus)

The riders to our south are likely going to reach us first (then perhaps the fliers). I suggest we put our units that don't suffer WTD against the riders on the forests and hill to our right and hide everyone else behind them (that is, north and northeastish) to heal us up or start killing the enemy next player phase. Basically, I suggest we put Liam and Roux into the trees, as they have lances against lances and swords, and Martyn, Kaldach, Sharne, and Bertholt behind them, as they can start killing axemen when they get closer. Executioner C may pose a problem to our cavs, but we can't do much about that if we want to be in the forest.

I'd suggest putting Esther on the hill. If she gets attacked by the riders instead, she'll at least have lots of DR and evasion, and can counter for good damage without worrying about the weapon triangle (as Kaldach, Sharne and Martyn would suffer against lances, Brock against swords, and we'd have to dismount our cavs to put them on the hill). But she's our only mage, so... yeah. Be careful out there.

On our left (near Esther), we should put Brock and Farra. They'll defend against the flier threat, as fliers wielding lances are weak against axes, bows, and overly antagonistic intra-party-conflict-inducing manly aggression.

Then, we wait to gauge the enemy's movement patterns.

Also, the inquisitor's mug makes him look really young.  So I'm gonna just imagine him as a psychopathic ten year old with swords bigger than he is.

Edit:  Also, worth noting that martyn CAN steal weapons from those enemies with two weapons, and functionally cantos afterwards.  I'll probably try snagging stuff from the cavaliers who don't drop things.
