Well, Kaldach can leave at any time. I was mostly just holding "everyone leaves" to the end in case we screwed up badly somehow.

Sharne's just got to leave before Bertholt, that's all.

In-character however, it'd be better to GTFO as quickly as possible, so I'm leaning towards escape.

Not much of a plan needed, then, but just in case:

Brock rescues Esther. (how's this work in character i wonder)
Sam to 14-16 after Farra leaves, bard Brock.
Brock leaves, carrying Esther.
Sharne leaves (could technically leave at any time but i think she'd want to see esther off safe first).
Bertholt to 15-16 after Sharne leaves, rescue Sam, leave.
Everyone else leaves.

There are a couple different variations of this, but this seems simplest.

While I'm sure it won't matter, technically, Bertholt needs to move after Sharne because if he rescues Sam from any other tile than Sharne's, he won't have enough MOV to canto to the exit.

It's time for you guys to determine what the rebellion is going to do next. Take some time to discuss it both in and out of character, and when you know what you want to do, I'll need bolded posts to determine a majority if there isn't a unanimous decision.

Okay, so.  Compiling a list of nations that might be useful...

Malda - Extremely militaristic and powerful, but also kinda authoritarian, and has some issues in the west.  Might face its own rebellion eventually, but could be a useful ally if we can convince it not to oppress us/replace its leadership (probably not an option, and would take too long)

Chilcinne - Bandit central.  Useless, if talking about the central government.  But we might be able to talk bandit clans into joining for the chance to loot Mordo (note: very risky, might loot us)

Welke - indirectly allied with mordo.  Not an option unless we get some seriously juicy info or can get in really good with the king.

Rheane - mostly pacifists, but we might be able to get the white knights on our side.  it's definitely an option, and probably a good one, but probably not a powerful one.

Sudanta - Bland, ex-empire.  I don't know anything about it, but I guess it's possible.

Kaite - no centralized government, but we could probably persuade some clans to support our efforts.

Qun - mercenary as shit.  if we come into something they find valuable or can somehow defeat their leaders by feat of arms, we'd have a huge body of warriors

Viterine - could probably provide us wiht arms and armor, and might be connected to the devil weapons somehow.  We should probably hit it up.

Anecca - Sparse, piecemeal.  But there are wealthy lords there who could help fund us, and we might be able to persuade some fighters to join our attempts.

Ryine - heavily isolationist and peaceful.  Probably a lost cause, but we COULD try.

Izzarra - We should definitely get this country on our side.

Roux at least is connected to the bandit gangs there so that's a possible angle.
That said trying to rally the bandits to help us is almost certainly an awful idea.

We can call it plan B.

Well, it's a long shot, but Bertholt's still a Rheanean noble's son, so he might be able to call in a few favours.

That's about what we're thinking.  We have at least some people with connections to other countries in different ways, and I figure we can sweep through all (or at least, many) of them if we want to do so.   We can use stuff like this.

Aww. All the planning goes on while Stirk is studying . Obviously, we need to get Mordo on our side first. Mordo will never see that coming, thus making them perfect allies.

Actually (sorry for double post), can I make an OOC suggestion?

We only have to meet up again, so why don't we just completely split up and go to ground once we decide where to meet (maybe one of Chilcinne's landmarks/cities/places if we're going that direction and not to Anecca first)?

Whoever wants to go to Rina's can sneak there separately - it's unlikely we'll all arrive at the same time and be suspicious, and it's harder to track us going there (I think - they'll be forced to follow multiple trails but not one big one). if it's empty, have false hope that someone else in our group arrived before you did

Whoever doesn't care about Rina just heads straight to our meeting point.

Sharne can probably even stick with Esther and Kaldach since Kaldach was singled out specifically by the inquisitor and has a distinctive sword. So they could use a little more muscle since Kaldach's already not so stealthy with the sword.
