There's a reason you don't take letters from shady dealers of some sort, to go to their recruitment drive. It was obviously a farce. Like really, who uses the term "Cabal of Reverence"?
Going there took quite a bit of time, a
lot of stepping through dimensional doors and running into interdimensional telemarketers, before you were there, staring at a man, hammer in hand, cloaked in goldenrod.
"
So, you're all the new recruits? You all want to join the Cabal of Reverence? I may be the Godmodder, and the last person to insult my name got stabbed in the face particularly hard. So, anyway, as you don't actually know due to narrative functions, we're looking for new reality warping sociopaths to join us in beating the other cabals of ludicrously overpowered beings. Here's your test. You are now metaphysically aware of my HP bar. Get that to 0, please, using your best offense. If you don't horribly die along the way, you have earnt the chance to join me!"
The Godmodder raises his hands, and drops his hammer. What are you waiting for? Go forth, and destroy the godmodder!
Welcome to Destroy the Godmodder, a forum game about horribly and brutally assassinating a reality warping sociopath, who tended want to nuke your favourite franchise from existence, but this hasn't been as much of a trend lately! I noticed the franchise in general slowing down to bits, and decided to start up a quick game here, for fun! That's all there really is, apart from the excuse plot caused by my love of writing lore that will turn into less of an excuse depending on how many people are interested in it! Throw your best attacks at the Godmodder and his thralls, and good luck!

The Rules.
0. This is not a roleplay! You don't need to sign up or use a character, though roleplaying is pretty commonplace in the vast majority of DTG games!
1. The aim of the game is to kill the Godmodder, by throwing the best and most creative, unique, and humourous attacks at the godmodder! The cooler they are, the more funny I find them, or the more brutal they are, the more likely they are to hurt him! The Godmodder is a cheat, and thus, if an attack is not creative, unique or humourous, then it will fail in some spectacular way!
2. As stated above, the Godmodder is a cheat. He makes the world revolve around him, spin around his little (and often middle) finger. He obviously can't oneshot you all, but don't get too content, otherwise the godmodder will throw a horrible challenge at you, and it will be fun.
3. You aren't alone against the Godmodder, and the Godmodder isn't alone against you. You can summon entities! Entities can be your dwarf adventuring crew, your favourite character, your OC, and generally anything you can think of! Unfortunately, if you attempt to summon entities in a singular post, they will either be brainwashed by The Godmodder (get buffed), brainwashed by something else (and get buffed), go insane (and get buffed), or stay on your side (because you're having so much fun that you desperately need entities!). How then, do you summon entities without them turning around and deciding that they want you to die?
4. Charges! A charge is a number that you increase by 1 every post, until it gets to a certain cap. Once it gets to a certain cap, or earlier if you're suffering a complete lack of patience, you can unleash it to summon an entity, or do an action empowered by a charge!
4a. You can additionally help two other players' charge per turn, giving them an extra 1 to add to a singular one of their charges.
4b. You can only do three charges at once, and you can not put charges on pause whilst charging another one. You can delay activating a charge, but you can't charge another charge in a charge slot whilst you do so.
4c. The Godmodder is completely immune to attacks involving charges, targeted at him.
5. If an entity dies, you can't resummon it, and you can't resummon an entity with essentially the same stats. This applies to entities summoned by others as well.
6. Players are vulnerable! You have 20 HP, and if you die, you must spend the entirety of the turn after you die respawning. You can not charge or assist others whilst respawning. This is to alowing you to have fun, because as you know, losing is the most fun experience anyone can imagine!
7. Finally, all players and entities belong to one of these alignments:
[GM]: Anti-Godmodder: the default faction of people who want to defeat the godmodder. Player summonable and player joinable.
[N] Neutral: the faction of people with zero idea of what to do, or otherwise independent goals. Player summonable and player joinable.
[GM] Pro-Godmodder: the faction of people who support the godmodder. Player summonable, player joinable, but the godmodder doesn't want player allies just yet.
[H] Hostile: the alignment of things that look forward to your horrible deaths, and thus will try to kill everything that moves at every opportunity. Extremely powerful. Player summonable but uncontrollable. Note that you don't want to summon them. Not player joinable.
[-BOSS] Bosses: a sub alignment added to another alignment to show that an entity is extremely powerful, and upon death, drops a spoil of war. Not player joinable, and most definitely not player summonable.
[GM] Godmodder, the Godmodder himself. Allied with the godmodder, obviously. Not player joinable, not player summonable.
Tips:- Nothing is ever a coincidence. If someone says that to you, they're a snake. Stab them.
The Godmodder
[GM] HP: 20/20.
