Yoake blinks, a blank expression on her face.

"Weren't we already?"

Karen suddenly ambles up to Noriko. A very irritated expression is on her face as she stares directly at her.

Noriko turned from watching the scene unfolding before her with a mixture of confusion, lingering embarrassment, and faint disgust, to meet Karen's gaze, almost welcoming the distraction offered. "Yes?" An even tone, too even. The kind that you got when someone was trying very hard to both be polite to you and imply that they'd like you to die in a hole.

"....it seems.....you and I were both shamed by this nonsense."
Karen's tone seems rather even as well, as if she'd rather not talk to Noriko either.
"I might......perhaps....possibly......owe you an acknowledgement of how.....difficult this is to deal with."

[Chevaleresse]

"You could say that." Was this actually an attempt at an apology? She wasn't sure she was willing to accept one, in all honesty. "Though it's generally a little easier when someone isn't looking at you as if you were a particularly odoriferous stain."

"W-we were? I never knew you thought of me as a friend... But yes! We're definitely friends now!"
She gives you a quick hug.

"You think you're the only one who knows what that's like."
Karen lets out a little "hmph", crossing her arms and not waiting for Noriko to reply.
"Perhaps you......aren't as unprepared as I thought. Perhaps I might have slightly, somewhat, underestimated the difficulty of your task. Maybe."

[Chevaleresse]

"This will go a lot faster and a lot smoother if you just apologize instead of hedging," she said rather bluntly. Noriko was not exactly the person to extract sympathy from about one's life experiences. At least, not if you felt they justified being a bitch.

Instead of replying, Karen simply walks off without even looking at Noriko, not even bothering with a parting shot. Seems Noriko will have to wait for an apology, if she's ever going to get one.

Then again, she probably should've expected this. People don't change that quickly. At least, Karen didn't seem the type to.

So, it's about this point, that Yuki walks up to Noriko, as there is nobody in need of urgent medical assistance. "Soooo that looked like it went well! How did apologizing for blowing her clothes off go? Between you and me she seems the type to be reaaaaally steamed about that..." Yuki is saying all of this with the utmost cheer, and it's mostly by luck that Karen's out of earshot by the time she asks this.

”I dunno Minato... with how sketchy Shef seems to me, I’m not gonna be too surprised if something weird turns out to be going on with him. Or turned out, I guess? I’m willing to give him the benefit of the doubt... but... what the hell.”

Faith fell silent and then abruptly spoke up in English to Winter. <“Hey, Winter, I’m wondering... if I wanna actually get some supplies besides all the clothes I brought, could you contact someone for me?”>

Noriko, rather than responding to Yuki immediately, gave the girl a look with a mixture of confusion and incredulousness, looked in Karen's direction, made a strangled noise, and rapidly began moving back across the skin tone spectrum in the direction of "tomato." "I, uh, wh, I did not realize that happened.  . ." Attempting to avert her gaze didn't do a whole lot of good, as all it did was highlight the fact that Satoshi was also missing clothing. . . though that was nothing compared to how little remained of Karen's. "Uhm. She didn't feel like apologizing for anything she said earlier, though."

<“Uh... I was thinking something to heal me if Yuki is busy, something to give my energy back after I use spells, and maybe something to, like... absorb attacks? So I, uh... don’t... get fu— get maimed. Um. Yeah.”>

Faith tried to ignore Karen’s near-clothesless status herself — there was only so much she could deal with at once.

Satoshi just innocently waves, shifting herself to show some more of the "damage" as she talks to someone on the phone.
