Yoake waves her hand dismissively. "Pffft, Minato. I'm super friendly. People love me. I already made a new friend just this week. Gimme a chance."

Noriko walked out of the back after a few moments, having spoken to the manager and gotten her hours reduced. She was frustrated, but understanding - she had other responsibilities, after all. She very carefully arranged her expression into the demure, shy facade she wore, though it seemed decidedly less convincing than usual as she headed toward a table that didn't contain people she knew at the moment.

"Where does the name come from? And the sync thing, that just based on skill or did the problems with that come from dying? Repeatedly?" Shef grimaced, mind wandering along the paths the officer had seeded. Completely anonymous, it seemed. No DNA records, no contacts, no information. The problem was memories of course, and the fact that he seemed to be an anomaly. Might be an interesting person to have on hand though. As a contact for the more unorthodox jobs.

Well, there's the two men occupying one of the booths, one of them looks to be in his forties, dressed comfortably and sitting relaxed, the other looking to be about a decade younger is dressed in a suit with sunglasses folded into his pockets and reclining in quite the leisurely angle, if he reclined much further, he'd be sleeping in the seat.

"Fucked if I know, the sync's based on psychological compatibility or something."

"Assuming Noriko doesn't kill her by the end of the week, THEN you can have a go."

"Noriko?"

Noriko walks up to the table, and starts to rattle off her practiced spiel. "Welcome home, masters! What would you like me to get for you first today?"

Shef nodded, and resumed sipping his water. At some point, unless Rosario inquired earlier, he'd bring up the topic which he came to discuss, not quit yet. For now though, he directed this question to Rosario, "What've you been up to recently?"

"Noriko?"

Minato gestures towards the blue-haired maid girl currently rattling off a spiel at a nearby table.

The more casually-dressed man answers you first "A double espresso for my friend over there, and an iced tea for the one who'll be joining us shortly."
"And a hot chocolate for the geyser too old for sweets."
"Hey now, not all of us can be running around staying all night. I got responsibilities man!"
"Responsibilities and a bed time."
"It's not my bedtime."
"Keep telling yourself that."

"Oh the usual... meetings to organise, orders to fill out, ah but today I've had the honor of meeting one of your newfangled allies in person..."

"She looks nice, what happened between you two?"
