Faith realizes pretty quickly how sound Shef's logic is, and her eyes widen as she realizes that their presence is actually dangerous.
"<O-oh sh--> er, I mean, oh, you're right Shef! Let's go!"
And the American girl scurries out of the café.

Minato calmly strides after her.

"So, uh, the alley's just right out here. Can't hurt to take a look, right? C'mon."
Faith waves Minato, and any others who follows them out, towards the alley she and the two maids  found themselves fighting in when Awakening, and begins walking towards it herself.

Okay so you're all back at the alley. You can hear the trains and the traffic and indecipherable noise born from the countless mutually interfering conversations going on right outside. What do you guys wanna look for? Trails to shadowy lairs? Pocket dimensions hidden in the walls? Used condoms to repackage and resell?

Minato looks around for any clues that haven't been cleaned away.

There's a lot of debris left, mostly just small pieces, the ones that are too much of a pain to thoroughly sweep up, probably blasted off the Mononoke thanks to Shef's Tracers or torn out by Yuki's chainsaw. There's a few bits and pieces of appliance casing as well, but there's nothing really connect to the Aramitama, that is, nothing save for a scrap of darkness, caught on the twisted edge of a small piece of warped metal. The concealing effects of the darkness probably meant that the cleaners missed amidst the shadows of the alleyway.

Faith ends up just kind of following Minato as he searches, reasoning that he's had more experience with this sort of thing and it might just be best to follow his lead. She notices the darkness at about the same time Minato does.
"Huh? What's this?"

Shef meanwhile, stood at the entrance to the alley, keeping a low profile, while still scanning the crowd for incoming enemies. The alley had seemed fairly clean, at least compared to some that he had seen, so he expected Faith and Minato to find their clues fairly easily.

Minato examines it closely, picking up the piece and being careful not to cut himself.
".....seems to be some kind of.....well, darkness, obviously."
He pulls out his phone with his free hand as he holds it to the light.
Winter, Enn, found something odd in the alleyway from yesterday. Some sort of darkness glob. Might need to send it to Tsukasa for analysis but do either of you have any idea what it could be?

No enemies as far as you can tell, a few people are giving you guys weird looks, but they carry on without a word.

Minato
"Could be a piece of its cloak. Must've been torn off by debris when Shef destroyed the fridge."

A cloak? Alright. Has there been any other trace of anything like this anywhere else in Tokyo?

[Empiricist]

"Yes, a cloak. You said it wore a shadowy cloak, remember? Or do you forget everything that isn't dressed like a maid? This looks like it came off of it."
"There are reports of similar materials. The two that are relevant are recent and pertain to the aftermath of incidents not involving Godslayers."
You receive a text giving you the details, one of them is in Tokyo, another isn't too far away from where you are now, though both by this time won't have any clues left - they've been cleaned up and the reports filed afterwards just say that something destroyed weaker Mononoke and took their shards.

Tell me when a Mononoke shows up wearing a maid outfit, then we'll see if you're right. Also, two incidents? Dammit, we've got to step up our game. Anyone reported missing yet?

"Those incidents happened before this week. Missing persons? There always are, but none that can be traced back to this one. May have been keeping to Mononoke, guess things are changing now though."
