He had said Shef would see, but. . .what about this statement supported that, if it was truth or lie? If it was lie, nothing in it really revealed much to Shef that would affect how he acted, save to make him a bit more suspicious of everything. If it was the truth, how would he have seen later? Was there going to be a repeat attempt? Good lord.
