Shef carefully dragged the mop across the floor, in slow easy strokes. Upon reflection, a janitor was not the worst position. He was close enough to assist the others when needed. He didn't need to interact with students much, and the job provided some small pay on the side, though he was uncertain whether he would be able to keep it himself. In addition, it afforded some small moments of peace and quiet.

At the burst of raucous laughter, Shef slowly turned to face Yoake, leaning casually on his mop.
With a slight scowl, he said in a pointedly quiet manner, "Don't you have a class to teach? Or at least, prepare for or something?"

Shef quickly glanced up and down the hallway. Mostly empty. He gave a small sigh. "Nice uniform. I suppose this is the perfect chance to secretly indoctrinate students in the way of Keijo?"

[Twinwolf]

Yuki, for her part, seems almost as if the last day had not happened. She doesn't act any different than she normally does besides not being a zombie in the morning. But then, that may be because she fucking called it all and so she'd not stayed up all night thinking about it. She wanders over to Minato soon after arriving. "Heeeyyy, good morning!" she declares in her normal way.

Minato smiles suavely at her.
"Hey, Yuki. Sleep well?"

Yuki nods vigorously. "Slept great! I was suuuuper tired after last night. Could barely walk home! Buut then again I've noticed "super tired" for me tends to be a lot more energetic than other people anyway. But that's just a me thing I think. Uh... you?"

Minato and Yuki
Mrs. Tanaka walks in and the chatter begins to die down in volume though not stopping. The third year teachers tend to be fairly chill since it's generally expected that by this point students will take charge of their own studies and have a certain minimum level of maturity. Well, some simulacrum thereof at least.

Faith and Noriko
So the door swings open and bam! Mr. Honda fucking slams into the wall. Stab wound right through the chest. Pretty big one as well. Still alive, for now, but probably doesn't have much time left. So there's blood everywhere, everyone's screaming and in walks that Aramitama from yesterday. Motherfucker don't give a damn, it just walks in, swings its arm out, and its revolver is now pressed against some girl's head. Her name's Sakurako Matsumoto by the way, sits in the frontmost rightmost seat, and in about a second or so, her brains are gonna be splattered all across that wall over there. Unless you do something about that of course.

Meanwhile, the Aramitama doesn't even stop and look to see who it's capping, it's just walking forwards as it pulls the trigger. Stone cold. Stone fucking cold.

Noriko leaps out of her seat immediately upon Honda making an appearance; this had the convenient effect of her being already past the point of surprise when the Aramitama walks in. The bastard already basically killed the teacher and was about to blow someone else to kingdom come, and she wasn't about to let that happen. The spear was already somehow in her hand as she drew her arm back and over her head, a gust of wind already blasting from her back toward the demon. She threw her weapon, except seemingly forgot the bit where you actually let go, flying forward and shouting three words. "MANAVASTRA! VASAVI SHAKTI!" As she flew forward at high speed, the weapon grew to a size best described as "impractical;" unfortunately for her opponent, all of that impracticality was already en route to its chest.

Use 1 Resolve, 1 Alteration, burn the 3 and 4 at the end of the line, use the alteration to use the last 5 as well

[Powder Miner]

Noriko wasn't the only one up when Honda got stabbed -- the man enters bleeding and dying, and Faith, already simply leaning on Noriko's desk, shouts an English <"Oh my God! What the fuck?!"> Her Regalia begins to spread under her shirt, and when the cloaked monster from earlier strides into the room and casually presses his gun against another student's head, Faith gasps... but also begins to move much as Noriko does, sprinting to shove herself between the gun and the girl. She shouts a "I won't LET you!" and a shield of bravery energy pops up.

At the concussive blast that unexpectedly ripped through the halls, without a word to Yoake, Shef sprinted though the halls and down to the second floor. It wasn't difficult to tell which room to go to. The door was wide open, and the screams of horrified teenagers were audible from within. Turning to the students, Shef shouted, "Get as far away as you can!"

Back to the matter at hand. Need to find the anomaly... Shef, waiting until Noriko had completed her charge, whipped out his pistol and fired three shots at the Aramitama's head. He didn't expect it to do much, but that was fine. It was simply a test, to see whether the Aramitama's Anomaly heart thing had been moved since the previous day.

Yuki bolts upright at the sound of the gunshot. "That's not a good thing." she observes as if it wasn't somehow obvious... and then calmly opens the window, and climbs out to the classroom below.

Minato, meanwhile, looks around to his classmates. He had minutes, maybe seconds to act.

He needed everyone out of the room, quickly, and to safety. Preferably away from whatever was going on downstairs.

He spies a dirty rag in the corner. The smoke detectors in this part of the building weren't that great at telling dust and smoke apart, and so they'd start ringing at the touch of a single fleck. Which, fortunately for him, was exactly what he needed as a distraction.

Picking up the rag and relying on everyone being distracted by Yuki climbing out of the window and the gunshot, he flicks dirt into the smoke detector, hoping to trigger it and thus a general fire alarm to get as many students out of the building as possible.

There is a great crash, a thunderous gunshot, and then the shrill shriek of a fire alarm. The three together give the students a pretty good incentive to start getting the hell out of dodge.

So Yuki swings in through the window, and here's what she sees - Mr. Honda's bleeding out on the floor, Faith and Sakurako are just fucking laid out on the desks, there's an Aramitama at the front of the damn class, and there is this great big fucking spear impaling it thanks to Noriko.

Thankfully, Faith, while hurt, can still fight. Through the surprise impalement jostling its aim, and her own shield, she didn't get completely ruined by the shot, though it still broke through her shield and blasted her backwards with its impact.

It is at this moment that Shef and Yoake rock up at the door, the former putting three rounds right into the false god's head.

The Aramitama looks around and no, it still can't find any fresh fucks to give. It fucking dashes forwards running itself through further as it attempts to grab Noriko, slam her into the wall, hurl her out the fucking window, and do another lightning fast dash to slash at the two godslayers at the door.

Faith, despite the roll difference took damage because the stat difference is so high. Normally, getting impaled by an oversized spear would mitigate the damage massively, but this Aramitama can take such hits without even flinching as you saw in the previous battle.
Sakurako is basically unhurt, Faith crashed into her, but she's not exactly injured.

[Strider03]

"Still close enough to the Anomaly heart." It occurred to Shef that he hadn't actually asked Enn or Winter how close was close enough. One of the girls seemed to be in imminent danger. Noriko, was it? Shef reached into deep into his consciousness, to begin that work which would tear holes in the universe. He conjured up a portal directly in front of the charging Aramitama, and one a few feet behind and above. Hopefully the thing would find itself charging in the complete opposite direction, and perhaps even stumble at the height difference between portals. Shef guessed that there would be little chance of this though.

Minato, meanwhile, follows the sound of fighting below. Transforming into his armor form when he's sure nobody can see him, Minato tries something silly, summoning Durandal into his hand.
"Here goes nothing!"

Summon the Perfected Replica Durandal and then use Durandal to cut a chunk out of the floor to collapse it onto the Aramitama.

Noriko let out a string of expletives as the thing rushed her. She was getting damn tired of the thing just not reacting to having a spear driven through it. As it shrunk back down to normal size, she tried to pull back, trying to simultaneously blow herself backward and the Aramitama forwards and away from her.

Faith took a deep breath and let it out after being smashed backwards -- she wanted to check on her classmate but didn't really have the time. So she sprang to her feet, maneuvered herself closer towards the door... and once noone was in the way, she poured a bunch of emotional energy into firing a beam at the Aramitama, a blast of red and white and blue aimed outwards so that a miss or any bleed-over only risked property damage, not hitting anyone. "Eat THIS!"
FREEDOM BEAM the Aramitama, using the rightmost 4 and using an alteration to use the 6.

Dammit! Once again, her ultimate quest to take Keijo worldwide has been halted.

Quickly shifting into her regalia, she dashes around the Aramitama, and transforms the area into a Land, before slamming her butt into the Aramitama.
