"That's a relief."
"If they are what they say they are, it could be a boon. Angels tend to be innocent, so to speak. Innocent in the same way an indoctrinated child or a mindless automaton is. They're very direct usually, so they usually do what they say. Still I don't like the sound of this, I suggest you figure out if it's helping you under orders or if they decided to. If it's the former, we may have problems. Point is, if angels are involved and they're not immediately hostile, then it could mean there are things in play they've been deployed to combat. Could be, sometimes they just get bored or lost. I'd err on the side of caution till we know for sure."

Oh hey, someone cared. Neat. "Claimed to have seen my info in a dossier, picked because I seemed 'fun'. Implication that there's some organizational interest. She said something about wanting to be a part of my story, that they'd provide supplies, and hope for some return on investment, but wouldn't force it. I'll look into whether individual actions are under orders, seems like the general stuff is organized from above though."

"Also, did either of you give out my address to any of the Appleton mansion staff?"

"Hmm... Maybe, maybe not. Having a file doesn't neccesarily mean you're of direct interest. Minato and Yoake are quite noteworthy so you might have a file in association with them."
"Evi asked for it, she said wanted to give you a token of appreciation."

"Got it, will keep alert. The angel is expecting to stay here, at my place. So, there's that. As far as address goes, fine, I guess. Just wondering. She showed up at the exact same time as the angel this morning. Couple of coincidences that stacked up in an. . . odd way." He was about finished his breakfast by this point. So, he went, got a coin, and gave it fifteen flips, hoping for heads. Not likely to show anything, it was unlikely that there was any general probability manipulation at play, but it was worth a shot. More specific tests could come after the first turned up nothing.

"Rosario said you had info on a mission for Friday. That was another one of the coincidences, he sent the text telling me I needed three other people, not from the main team, right as, due to the first set of coincidences, I had three awakened women in my living room."

"Off the top of my head, no. Nothing save Hanako, Evi, and Leone all showing up at once, then a mission by chance requiring that number of people."

"Thanks." The coin tosses hadn't revealed anything, but he hadn't expected it to. So, he would head out. Find a good place to get a bed frame, see if they'd deliver. This would give opportunity for whatever was causing these suspicious occurrences to maybe create a chance meeting with someone he knew. Maybe. Getting a bedframe was the important part though.

After that however, he'd try to find a nearby place where he could gamble. Whether it be horse races, a casino, or whatever. Once there, he could determine if there was some non-localized "good" fortune that he had today. But that'd be a bit later, and he'd determine the details when the time came. Of course, it could be temporally localized, and then there'd be no way of testing it. Still worth a shot.

He wrote a quick note saying he'd be gone for a few hours until around noon and left it on the counter, in preparation for leaving. But he didn't go immediately. "So, what can you tell me about the misison on Friday? Body guard assigment, influential family, need four people total but not from the main team."

Faith nodded. <"...yeah."> She nodded again, twice, and her head drooped a little low on the second time. <"...yeah. Yeah. ...please take good care of her."> Faith moved towards Minato a bit, and leaned on him now, actually banking on him to support a fair bit of her weight; she was beyond exhausted, now. <"Let's go home.">

Minato pulled the lever on his belt, detransforming to let himself properly take her weight in a comfortable manner; crushing yourself against (albeit flexible) metal armor wasn't the best way to go about it. He props her up a little to help her walk, though.
"No problem. Let's go."

Faith whimpered a little into Minato's shoulder, and then they walked off towards her apartment -- this time, without anything left to further traumatize the poor girl on the way home.

The redheaded boy and the blonde girl made it to the latter's apartment; Faith fumbled at her wallet for a few exhausted moments (thankfully not destroyed with her clothing -- that would have been even more of a nightmare) before she managed to get her key and turn the lock open. She pushed open the door, and then when she pushed it to close it after entering she nudged it into a position where it didn't quite close and instead rested against the edge of the doorway. With a quiet sigh, she just gave up on it and left the final push for Minato to hopefully take care of -- she was just...

Faith was done. Done with just about everything today. It had been singularly terrible, and she just couldn't go about anything else today. Not after all this. Maybe not for the next few days, even -- she just wanted to curl up into a ball and try to ignore the world around her for a while. To that end, Faith silently walked over from the door to the couch in the center of the apartment's living room, got on it, and then laid down, bringing her knees to her chest.

After calmly closing the door behind Faith, Minato hangs his blazer up where he can. Letting Faith proceed to the couch first, he inwardly debated on whether or not he should stay to watch over her.

On one hand, they hadn't known each other that long. Maybe it would be weird for Minato to stay. Maybe he should leave, let her sort herself out first. That seemed a logical thing to do.

On the other hand, she was sad, a friend of his, and in need of comfort to distract her from the insanity that had been today. Nobody else was around to do it; Noriko wouldn't, certainly, and Yuki was absent.

Minato closes his eyes, breathes in, and decides.
"Hell with it."
He stalks over to the couch, sits next to Faith, and carefully strokes her head, in as comforting a way as he can manage. He never WAS any good at this comforting thing; after all, beating up bullies and telling them to screw off was one thing. Fighting one's inner demons was another, and this wasn't an enemy Minato could just summon Durandal at.

Still, he owed it to her to try.
