As for how I feel when I exert myself... thanks, mom,"> the girlish giggle that Faith let out immediately after that exhibited that she was more amused with herself than anything else, <"...but, um, it's like... There's a pause from Faith before her expression suddenly turns really wary. <"Shef's handler? ...sophisticated stimulants? Um... what do you mean by sophisticated stimulants? From a guy associated with Shef. Also, what, do we have handlers too? I thought we were kind of a group under you.

...seriously, though, what do you mean by "sophisticated stimulants".">

"<It it honestly that surprising Shef has a handler? We mean better optimized, tailored, or experimental ones. He has ties to Eisenberg Health, so it is possible he may have access to them.>"

<"Um... Winter... um... wow, okay, I know this is rude of me, but I have to come out and say it... if it's someone who's handling Shef, and it's sophisticated stimulants, uh-- uh, well... is it drugs? I wanna know if it's drugs.">

Minato just gives Faith a confused look. He can't hear the other side of the discussion, as far as he knows.
"W-w-wait a second. Shef has a handler. Shef. The guy who handles that."
He points over at Yoake, letting her presence speak for itself.

<“Huh. Uh, I’m not going to get addiction or horrible side effects from potions, right?”>

She looked over to Minato and saw him goggling at her confusedly, flashing him a brief and sheepish smile. ”I’m talking to Winter about provisions. And, apparently, yeah, it’s... handlers all the way down, I guess.”

Yoake chuckles.

"Of course not! No friend I make would ever be stupid enough to break my trust! Besides, why would they want to? I'm a great friend."

Her smile is entirely genuine.

"<Addiction no, side effects, maybe if decide to try an experimental one.>"

"That... makes a lot of sense actually..."

<“Yeah, uh... I’m definitely just gonna go for the basic stuff, and... in bursts, I think. Yeah. I’ll ask Minato about the defenses.”>

And she looked up, at the boy who was in fact in front of her at that very moment. ”Uh, so, yeah. Winter is suggesting I ask around for who you guys know for contacts. I am kind of looking for something that can I can activate to absorb attacks, instead of, well, getting you slammed into me a bunch, no offense.”
