"Hokay, that's new." She let the fridge retreat for now; she wasn't certain, exactly, what it could do, and she didn't feel like taking another hit. Another foe had appeared; the situation kept getting more and more dangerous. Wind. I can do wind, and I can jump. Alright, let's try. . . She leapt upward, boosting herself into the air on a gust of wind. When she reached the apex of said jump, she angled her spear right toward the new figure and hurled it forth with a shout, carrying the weapon toward its center of mass.

Yuki considered running, but her protection *should* be enough to keep her in. CHAINSAWS ARE FUN! As the washing machine would continue to learn.

Spoiler: Rolls (click to show/hide)

As the round impacts, Rho Aias contracts with a mechanical shriek, the seven rings becoming something resembling a riot shield. The first layer shatters and the bullet explodes, forcing Minato backwards but failing to break the second layer. As the Aramitama sidesteps the beam, Faith's spell roars towards it. She had put so much power into it, so much that the backlash sent her tumbling backwards winded and badly hurt even with its healing effects and Yuki's shielding. It was a ball shining like a miniature sun, born of Faith's burning resolve, its surface erupting with gouts of radiance, the energy within held only by determination and purpose.

The Aramitama sidesteps that as well.

Yeah I know, real anticlimactic, but it's a single projectile with nothing to help it hit, in an open area with plenty of places to run.  It completely fails to hit its mark and just slams into the floor beside it.

Good thing it's highly explosive isn't it?

The radiant blast rocks the platform and envelops the false god, a spear darting through and impaling it through the chest before the blast had even cleared.

Its thrower, Noriko was levitating about a meter or so off the ground. There was nothing wrong with her leap, in fact, she had executed it perfectly, but that damned chill that slowed her, robbed her of momentum, it had stilled the air to prevent escape. It had also stuck the refrigerator in place, still halfway through trying to execute a dropkick and now struggling to free itself from its own ice.

However, for some that just took an explosion and impalement, the Aramitama seems to take it all quite well. Unflinchingly even. Though with its cloak and shadows its hard to tell how injured it is if at all. It simply rips out the spear and tosses it aside. And in the next moment, it is in the skies, revolver pointed at Noriko and the fridge, it fires and intending to perform another long range quickstep for a melee followup with the blade it now brandishes in its right hand.

Yoake's attack is interrupted as the chord intercepts her, ensnaring her. She finds herself throw by the appendage up into the air as A's door opens, the mononoke readying to try and stab her from afar with the chord after firing.

B unfortunately isn't having any more of Shef's shit, it parries his punch with its bat while D smashes him with its electrified weapon, the hit knocking him off balance but dealing very little damage courtesy of Yuki's shielding. B's ensuing flying kick, delivered while pivoting off its bat, hurts more and sends Sheft staggering backwards, the two robots rushing forth to try and beat him down and continue beating him.

Yuki having decided to keep on attacking proceeds to get blown sky high. And then falls on the tendrils which have turned into an impromptu spike bed. Needless to say, she is very hurt by this even with her shielding. She does however, at least makes sure she lands chainsaw first on top of the appliance, her momentum letting her to cleave it in twain.

C, its head now aflame opens its door again in Yuki's direction.

"Can't fight these hand to hand..." Shef muttered as he pulled himself to his feet. He grimaced, clutching his ribs. With a suddenly steady hand, Shef took aim with his pistol. Over and over, he pulled the trigger, sending the screaming lead packages towards his assailants.
Alteration: Use first 6 for turn roll. Shef uses Rapid Fire[4] with the far right four on microwaves B and D.

"Ow, ow- totally worth it- ow, ow..." Yuki muttered, before rolling out of the way of the apparent blast from the microwave and to her feet. "Let's try that again! HEALING FIELD!" she shouted as she retreated towards the others, healing them once more.

Alteration: Use a 5 from the worldline rather than a 3. Also use another point of Resolve for another Healing Field.

Noriko hadn't paused to celebrate; she was still ready in case the creature shrugged the blow off. And shrug it off the demon did, tossing her weapon to the side like a discarded toothpick. She needed to get it back, and normally tossing away your only weapon like that was a spectacularly bad plan; but she'd noticed something as they'd started fighting, something that would work to her favor. It was odd, but she could feel the air around her, the natural flows, the way the cold had stilled it about her, and if she prodded at it mentally, it moved.

The cloaked thing was coming in for an attack, and she couldn't dodge correctly at the moment, though she still did her damnedest to force herself down and to the side. As she did so, she made a sort of backward throwing motion, directing the air to pick up the spear, spin it around, and drive it straight into the thing's back, trying to time it so that it would actually be on the ground when she did this. Failing that, hopefully the momentum would keep it going past Noriko herself and straight into the entrapped refrigerator.
(Use the 5 at the end of the line)

"<A-ahh... wow... that didn't go... like I thought..."> Faith gasped that out in English between her attempts to catch her breath. So the burnt girl stumbled over next to Minato, huddling behind his shield before she lifted her hand, focused her magic the best she could in her current state, and fired off another one of those beams at the microwave currently attacking her half-sister -- she wasn't being attacked, and she was under a shield, so when she was needed she wasn't going to be a coward. No, she was going to give it her all, even if it hurt! "Take... this!"
Faith fires a Freedom Beam at Microwave C, burning her only remaining 4 and using an alteration to use her rightmost six with the attack.

Yoake was quite fed up with this damn robot. It just kept attacking her! It wouldn't let her hit it, either. It kept pushing her away, so she had to do something to close the gap.

Remembering her training, Yoake twisted her hip. Once. Twice. A third time. She twisted it violently, before moving into a full spin.

"VACUUM BUTT CANNOOOOON!"

A tumultuous blast of wind and force hits Microwave A, and potentially others nearby.

Minato holds up his shield, slowing down to let Faith stay close. Seeing Shef get attacked, he starts moving towards him, spawning Durandal into his hand as he does and preparing to smash one of the microwaves out of the way with the remaining six rings of Rho Aias.

Spoiler: Rolls (click to show/hide)

Yuki heals the party as she tries to roll out of the impending beam's path. At the same time, Faith's attack lances out at her attacker, trying to stop it, to interrupt if not halt its attack. The only thing that comes out however is an explosion. Its head just explodes and then it gets nailed by Faith's beam, pure freedom blasting through its head, killing it. Yuki then begins retreating towards Minato, he'll probably need a helping hand - Faith fainted after casting the spell.

Noriko meanwhile simply cannot move out of the bullet's path in time, the air stilled by the fridge's presence. The round explodes into her chest slamming her back into the fridge, freeing it the ice. She's hurt, but not too hurt, the double serving of chuuni shielding doing its work. Beckoning her weapon to move, she tries to strike her foe from behind, to catch it in the instant before it strikes. Turns out it's a lot easier than she thought, namely because it seems to have misjudged the distance and instead just crashes into her, sending the trio tumbling across the platform. She's a bit more hurt from it, but she also managed to stab it in the back during all that.

The three disentangle, the Aramitama already preparing to dash forwards and cleave, the refrigerator opposite it now readying a dropkick. Noriko's sort of the just in the middle between the two beings with mutual murderboners.

A's microwave beam surges towards Yoake. With no real way to maneuver out of the way or block the attack, it looks like taking the viscous combo would be inevitable, but(t)... Kicking off the chord as it releases, the girl sends herself spinning, using the rotations to violently twist her hip as spirit energy gathers, her rare end beginning to glow.

Vacuum Butt Cannon, one of the forbidden techniques. An attack that places so much strain on its own user that injury is inevitable. But of course, for an Awakened, injuries heal mend easily.

She thrusts out her butt, quickly, violently, so much that cutting shockwaves and hard vacuum arose from its wake, crashing into the beam and blasting it apart before severing the chord and enveloping A. Its casing, already weakened from previous damage gives way and leaves it sparking and collapsed. while Yoake herself lands gracefully, temporarily immobilized from her attack but otherwise fine.

Shef unleashes a wild spray of fire, managing to fell D with the barrage, blast its corpse repeatedly before it falls, and break his own shielding with ricochets in the excitement before B bats his arm out of the way and sends him toppling onto the ground with a swift strike to the head. Minato charges towards it, aiming to smash it out of the way, but his armor proves to slow him too much to make it in time as B repeatedly clubs Shef, managing to land a few faster blows through his guard before beginning to retreat.

The world twists and shifts once more, returning everyone to the entertainment district. Minato, Shef, and Yoake head Winter again through their earpieces "Everyone staying safe and unmurdered today?".

"Thus far. There's nothing like fighting kitchen appliances and a trigger-happy deity to get the blood moving." He groaned a bit as he pulled himself to a sitting position, clutching his stomach. He shifted, and then gasped as a splinter of pain rushed through his head. Clenching his teeth, he surveyed the surroundings after taking a moment to reload his empty magazine. The battlefield had reverted to the entertainment district, erasing any trace of the 'land' that had existed for a few minutes. The microwave was retreating, for some reason.

"Get back here, you bastard. You don't start clubbing someone to death, and run without finishing the job." A hint of menace crossed his face as Shef turned his gun towards the retreating figure. He fired one bullet toward the possessed machine. It sped onward, following its course in space as momentum and gravity dictated...until it didn't. It was gone for a moment, only to reappear directly above the metal monster, intent on delivering its formidable energy straight down through the Mononoke. For good measure, he fired another shot towards the Aramitama near Noriko, sending it through a flash of portals. He waited, of course, until she was somewhat out of the way before firing.

Shef uses Tracer[R] twice, once on Microwave B, and once on the Aramitama, burning three Resolve (extra used for two Hypers in a turn).
(4) 1 6 1 1 2 1 1 1 3

((OOC, I don't quite know how far the Aramitama currently is from Noriko. Once I have that knowledge, I may edit this turn.))

Heh. Serves 'em right. Now she just had to... remobilize.

Taking care to not hurt anything more, she regains her movement, and dashes towards Microwave A. Then, picks it up and tosses it in the direction of the closest enemy.

Noriko scrambled laterally away from the two supernatural creatures that seemed to have developed a mutual enmity, her chest still alight with the pain of the Aramitama's strike; an under-the-breath repetition of "Shit shit shit shit shit shit shit" accompanied her escape. Once she'd skittered far enough, she picked herself up with a combination of the standard method and lifting herself using her control over the air, and aimed a somewhat wobbly stab at Microwave B.

It was no wonder Minato didn't make it on time -- not only did he have his heavy armor, but he had an unconscious American girl leaning limply against him between his shield and his shoulder; he'd had to struggle along keeping her up and making sure she wasn't just left out on the ground. Faith's head lolled forwards against him, and her blonde hair fell over her forehead, dampened with sweat. Faith had pushed herself and driven the breath out of her lungs with her magic until she just  couldn't take the strain anymore and passed out.
