"HERE GOES NOTHING! GUYS, TAKE COVER!"
Dai-Henshin, thrust the Luin Celtchair down as far as we can towards Weeknd Alter using the last of the stockpile and attempt to impale him.

Yoake reacts quickly, and grabs one of the pieces of metal flying up from the crash.

She uses it as a platform, jumping off of it towards Storm Mind E, attempting to latch onto the Storm Mind and lead the missiles and other Storm Minds into attacking it, hopping onto another Storm Mind when that one is destroyed, and repeat.

Spoiler: Rolls (click to show/hide)
[Now Playing: Panther]

Yuki's field explodes outwards, inconsequential dust and scrapes lifting from Shef's form as a divine protection wreathes his form. Two beams crash into him, detonating in great clouds of burning plasma, his shield gone as quickly as it came. The impact blasts him to the side, his tumble growing more and more erratic. He slams his fist into the ground, gauntleted fingers clawing into topsoil , tumble turning into a slide, into braking, deceleration. In mere seconds, his velocity has more than halved. To the rest of the team it was like he was now rushing towards him, a portal opening above the wreckage of the train, right in front of Minato.

Minato launches through the portal, dragged by his spear. It, wasn't the most accurate portal - by the time he came out the other end, it was no longer aligned with his target. No matter, he didn't need a straight path, he just needed Luin to lock onto the right foe. He pulls the lever.
"Limiter Off."
Four weapons stretch out behind, forms shifting and elongating into twisted butterfly wings transparent and distorted with fractal veins of pulsating golden light. And then, they detonate.

Satoshi watches her passengers leap off her car's. She couldn't get off, not now, not yet. As they finally clear the side, Weeknd Alter bearing right down towards them, she conjures her Regalia, and brings it down, hard. The rod of force expands into a pillar, slamming down into the boat, through the boat, and hurling its still spinning wielder into the air, the vehicle rapidly returning to its original form, that of a sensible, and now half-demolished sedan. Her Regalia shrinks, now adopting a more spear-like form, a pulsating, shifting field of force just waiting to break loose, a bear trap on a hair-trigger.

And then it happens, a streak of burning gold blazing straight through the wreckage. A knight in burning armor, spear in hand, tearing straight through the attack, straight through the adversary in that grave moment right before impact.

Nothing happens.

Nothing. Zilch.

Fuck all.

Minato had simply passed through his target harmlessly, just like Shef's bullet.

The Weeknd's cross comes cleaving across.

Karen, Faith, and Yuki, try as they might cannot escape in time the burning weapon cleaving through all of them and hurling them backwards.

Faith, is fine. The fucking madwoman had five bloody shields and a protective Regalia. She's tumbling but unhurt.

Yuki... well, her shields are gone, she's hurt, but not too hurt, and tumbling. But hey, if it's not gonna stop a slasher villain, it ain't gonna stop her.

Karen, yeah, she's kinda shit outta luck. She's pretty badly hurt and is just fucking launched backwards by the force of the strike.

Minato meanwhile managed to phase through his target avoiding the attack entirely, Luin Celchair quickly spinning him around as the Weeknd leaps into the air a larger pair of phantasmal arms appearing and crossing over its chest, its weapon readied for a parry as its array of cannons spin forward and roar with shellfire.

Meanwhile
Yoake kicks off shattered plating, blasting towards the Storm Mind formation. Gatling fire stafes her from all directions but somehow, somehow she manages to slip past, and slam right into unit E, grappling onto them in mid-air and kicking off them, using the kick and the explosions behind to her hurl herself towards F. F, however, seeing what she did to its ally has already changed tactics, going for a thrust with its weapon, a thrust that is deflected by Yoake's bust who just latches on, turning the fight into a desperate struggle for control over the weapon as the remaining missiles close in, units G and H grouping together and retreating further.

Meanwhile...
Okay there goes all the nearby turrets. They, really couldn't handle what Noriko did it seems and while the missiles are continuing to chase her... they can't really do much.

Karen sails through the air towards her, missiles beginning to lock onto her instead. Huh, feels kinda weird being the one hanging back and not getting fucked by murder-happy asshole.

Faith might have been in that very moment wildly tumbling across the ground after directly having been hit by that damn weapon, but she found that aside from being shaken up by the fact that she was rolling across the ground, she was actually pretty much fine! She was glowing rather noticeably less, but then again she was now, as far as she could tell, covered by one heck of a shield by her sister. So, yeah, she'd be doing okay if she could stop this damn rolling around! And that called for... nondescript flailing and groping at the ground.

While she did that, though, she noted that Minato appeared to be rushing towards the Weeknd Alter, and that it didn't appear to be doing the phasing attacking thing (it WAS trying to parry him). So she decided she'd take advantage of it once she managed to slow herself the hell down, and the way she would do that was, by waiting until Minato's attack had resolved so that she didn't, uh, blow him up, pointing her hand in a finger gun at the Weeknd Alter, visibly gathering energy, and shouting "HERE GOES NOTHING!"

And then a brilliant beam of light burst from her hand, a wide beam of raw energy and destruction approximately wide enough to make moving outside its radius in a split second difficult but not a whole lot more difficult lancing out towards the Weekend Alter even as the backlash off the energy washed out to her. The beam of energy was bright, in fact just a little painfully so, with motes of light occasionally splitting off of it and floating away a couple of feet before winking away, almost as if to demonstrate the sheer amount of energy packed into the single beam.

Faith tries to slow herself down since she's waiting for Minato's charge to finish anyway, and then she fires a Lucky Sunbeam at the Weeknd Alter after either Minato's attack resolves or he cancels it, just wide enough to be difficult to dodge!! Alteration to a 6!!

Yoake had a storm mind in her grip, and a plan.

She flings the Storm Mind caught in her bust towards the other two that have grouped up, hoping to distract all three, if not eliminate them. She would use the force from throwing it to push her away from the missiles, and gain a bit more time.

Those cannons were a nuisance to say the least. But, She would be ignoring them once again. Noriko was taking out cannons, right? For now, he pulled he arm out of the trench he'd been plowing, and tried to reorient himself in the air so he'd be facing the storm mind once he'd passed. For now, they needed to figure out the reason behind the thing's pseudo invincibility, and if it was a simple every other attack thing, well he couldn't do anything till Faith got her attack off. After though, he raised his gun and fired a quick burst off. Should suppress pretty well, maybe even do damage if the thing wasnt immaterial at that point; so Shef thought.

Try to stop decelerating so much, and wait till after Faith's beam to use Rapid Fire [4].

Good, progress. She wasn't taking any hits, and another upshot of her relatively conservative strategy up to this point was that she'd had a bit of time to catch her breath. It was time to advance and help take down their main target, now, though; she'd cleared the path for the others to get here as best as she could, and mostly secured her own approach. She darted at the two remaining laser cannons, being sure to move erratically as to throw off their aim, and tossed one spear apiece into their barrels as she advanced toward where Minato was fighting.

Burn that first 2.

"Oh, you're not getting away THAT easy!"
So, it wanted to phase through his weapon? Minato had a decent counter for that, at least; the Aegis.

It would achieve one of two things; either it would petrify the Alter enough that Minato could land a blow on it and then it'd be a sitting duck for everyone else to hit, or the Luin would phase through anyway, but at least Minato would have a shield of some sort to protect himself with, and he could figure it out from there.

Either one would leave him mostly fine. Hopefully.

But then today hadn't exactly gone to plan.
Alter to 5, use True Replica Replication to summon the Aegis with one hand, holding on to the Luin with the other while using the Luin to brace the shield and petrify Weeknd Alter while shielding Minato from the onslaught of guns, then use True Luin to impale them for Faith and Noriko to finish off.

Spoiler: Rolls (click to show/hide)
[Now Playing: Panther]

Aegis comes out and the shells come a roarin'. Not a good trade, Minato's slammed right into the ground, wasn't close enough to petrify and with his stockpile expended, there was no way to dodge, not with Luin's raging murderboner trying to go at things head-on. Faith steadies herself emotional energy tearing at the ground beneath her, breaking her stumble into a slide. She steadies her aim.

Minato was currently being pounded by artillery. Not exactly ideal, but hey, Minato's a tough guy, he'll live, and y'know what? Him being outta the way just meant she could crank this thing up to full. The blast lances towards Weeknd Alter, and in the split second before it hit, in the split second as it tried to dodge, it does something strange. Its summoned parts, the cannons, the ribcage, the arms, they seem to flicker phasing out of existence. Now there was nothing to protect it from the beam, nothing but I-frames, but not even that was enough.

It wasn't a direct hit, but it was a hit, a clip.

Shef's bullets ventilate the construct's body, what remains of it at least. Half its side has been blown clean off, the wounds horrific, no star wars cauterization here, just raw bleeding shadowflesh, an arm, both legs, and a good chunk of their lower body are missing. Actually missing, they're just, gone, vanished without a trace. And the bullets puncturing them? These ones didn't overpenetrate, exit wounds blooming like flowers of gore and shattered bone.

Faith drops to one knee, still sliding on discharges, she's feeling light-headed, she needs to catch her breath. But her clothes were still on, and that's really all that matters.

Magic circles coalesce before the Weeknd's broken form, looking almost like a series of eyes.

Meanwhile...
Spinning as if charging up another Vacuum Butt Cannon, Yoake flings Storm Mind F, sending them careening through the air towards its allies, they scatter and dodge, but that's just fine, now they can't cover each other. Now just need to deal with these missiles...

Two explosions, the last two laser cannons fall, and the missiles fall with them.

Noriko speeds off towards the rest of the team, spears darting back to meet her halfway.

"Told you it was the turrets." Shef muttered as the missiles dropped. The thing was pretty much beaten, though it did appear to have some sort of last resort up its sleeve. He probably wouldn't speed it's death much more, but Shef popped in another magazine quickly, and took a few more shots at it. Could probe it a bit, if the magic circles were some form of shielding or some other defensive measure.

Take a few shots at the weeknd.

Oh, sweet. Things were pretty much over.

Yoake heads over to the others, evading any potential attacks from the Storm Minds.

Well, that had worked quite nicely. The... well, whatever the hell that thing was had been blasted pretty much right apart, in a way that was actually completely disgusting and would probably be a little traumatizing if Faith currently had the mental energy to devote to it, which she didn’t. She was still sliding slowly, but with no immediate threats in sight... yeah, Faith could afford to just sit still for a while. And start breathing, the beam had knocked the wind out of her, bleh.

Faith’ll just sit there and burn a 1 as she recovers her stamina.

Well, that was good. She didn't have to worry about hunting down whatever targeting systems the missiles might've run on. Now it was time to reinforce Minato, who seemed to be making an excellent showing in the "get dragged around generally looking like an idiot" department. On the bright side, their enemy didn't seem to be in particularly good shape either, though Minato was still carrying the spear that'd been pulling him into enemy attacks this whole time for god-knows-what reason. She continued forward, trying to put on some speed so she could reach the construct guarding the train before it pulled something unpleasant out at the last moment, as some enemies were wont to do. Worst case scenario, she stabbed a corpse.

Continue heading to the front of the train. Focus on zoning the Storm Minds away rather than trying too hard at actually dodging (so I can move forward more efficiently), and then impale the Weeknd when I get there. Also burn that 1.
