Yuki picks her Regalia in the only proper way - leave it to fate. She closes her eyes and randomly picks a box, waving her hands around and murmuring something for good luck. She pulls something out. It's rather heavy - and when she opens her eyes she sees she picked up a big ol' chainsaw. "Sooooo cooooool..." she mutters. She's currently... glowing? Weeeird.

Noriko reaches in toward the container and pops it open. As expected, it contained a spear. The weapon was fairly simple: a plain shaft of some unidentifiable wood, smooth with a matte lacquer, ran up to meet a triangular head, flat on the top and bottom and made of a silvery-white metal. Upon grabbing it, she felt odd and distinctly chilly for a moment. Looking down, her uniform - damnit, she left without changing - was nowhere to be found, replaced with a strange dress consisting of blue and white scales(?). The garment was sleeveless and its skirt was divided; a pair of leggings ended just above her ankles. "Wait, where'd my shoes go?" Locating the wayward footwear would have to wait, however, as the enemy was upon them. She experimentally tried a stab at the nearest one, if she had the time to do so (2.)

Well, Faith watched them attack as her armor finished assembling, and follow their lead she did, as some sort of bizarre instinct took over, and she felt something calling upon the air of bravery she was projecting and tug it into a point, emotional energy flowing and words rising to her throat: "FREEDOM BEAM!" A bright beam of bravery shoots from her hand at one of the mononoke!

Hit one of the Mononoke with a Freedom Beam hyper, powered by the first 4 of Faith's worldline!

コンバット•スタート!
Spoiler: Rolls (click to show/hide)

Yoake is the quicker of the three, and rushes forth, assaulting Microwave A with her tits of fury. It attempts to block with its bat, fails horribly, and leaps backwards, trying to stay out of range, but the keijo practitioner proves to be too swift, closing in and continuing her onslaught, her foe repeatedly pummeled as it attempts to block her attacks with only limited success.

With one foe broken out of formation, Minato and Shef commence their attacks. Minato lunging forth while Shef tries to cap his foe. Two two-round bursts strike each of C's arms, breaching the casing with a shower of electrical sparks, as it staggers backwards from the impact, Durandal swings forwards, clashing with B's bat. Now, B isn't just going let some punk run up and slash it, but Minato's enhanced strength allows him to begin overpowering it, weakening its guard with each clash before locking blades and pivoting Durandal closer and closer, slashing it across the chest... and then the  microwave door opens.

Not just B's, all of them.

Large beams of fuck you proceed to erupt from their faces. Now Yoake, she doesn't give fuck, the beam erupts, she ducks, and before you know it, her breasts are hammering A from behind, the beam having hit no one at all. Shef actually manages to dodge out of the way in time by slamming his head against a telegraph pole. And Minato just gets plain fucked.

Now, B's beam goes off at a bad angle and really only clips Minato. C and D's however hit him straight on, and send him tumbling backwards as they continue into the alleyway.

In the tight confines, there's nowhere to run, Yuki gets nailed, Noriko gets nailed, and Faith, well... her defenses are low and her armor isn't too good against energy attacks.

But Faith ain't no bitch.

"FREEDOM BEAM!"

Just before the beam hits her, she brings out her hand to meet it, the beam splitting apart and scattering, striking the nearby walls as Faith's own beam crashes against it, and begins to overpower it. The beam tears through D's beam, scattering it and blasting straight into D's head, blasting it backwards and leaving the microwave buckled and smoking. Rushing out from the blast, Noriko stabs it in the chest, leaving a small sparking gash.

So Faith's out of breath from pushing her magic, Yuki's a bit singed and a bit sore, Noriko slightly more so, but they're both otherwise fine thanks to Minato tanking the beams with his face. Minato himself is sprawled on the ground, hurt but in that anime "worn out but not actually injured and about to get back up and continue fighting" sort of way. Shef is just dazed.

A spins around trying to catch Yoake in the stomach and following it up with a stab from its jack and a series of swings to her head. B twirls its bat which crackles to life with electricity as its face swings open again. C reopens its face as well. D charges its bat with electricity and moves into a guarding stance between B and C.

The fridge arrives onto the scene, and from the other side comes a washing machine. As in literally the appliances, not even robots with weird heads.

Due to the rapidly approaching beam, Shef had leapt out of the way, directly into a pole. He stumbled, grabbing his head as he quickly pivoted to catch anything that might have taken advantage of his momentary weakness. He steadied himself, and glanced about at the group, specifically the new recruits. Hmm...the blonde isn't bad...

There were more enemies joining the fight. The fridge from earlier, and a washing machine or a dryer. He didn't care enough to determine which.
Shef stretched out his hand, and concentrated. It was always fairly simple; he probably didn't have to even raise his arm. It seemed to help a little with accuracy, though. A sort of pulse built up in his mind, until suddenly, it would die, as a hole opened in the world.

Satisfied with his newly created wormhole, Shef fired a shot at the 'head' of the microwave that had moved to guard.
Shef uses "Hey look over there![3]" to drop Microwave C in front of Microwave B. Fire at Microwave D ('head')

That stung more than a bit, but Minato seemed to have borne the brunt of the assault. As much as she still had a lingering urge to berate him over hanging out at maid cafes, she was still concerned about his well-being. A glance revealed he was still breathing, which meant that she could focus on something else. More specifically, the refrigerator. She dropped backward into a stance that vaguely resembled something she'd seen when passing by a naginatajutsu class at some point, and picked her target; the refrigerator in the back. As ridiculous as it was, it was probably important in some way.

An action and a phrase came unbidden to her mind as she prepared to strike. She took one more step backward, and raised her spear above her head in preparation to throw. A wind rose out of nowhere, blasting from behind her, clearing a path straight toward the malevolent kitchen appliance. She leapt forward into it, flying through the air, and hurled her weapon ahead of her with a shout, aimed at about where the head would be if the fridge was humanoid: "MANAVASTRA!" After it landed, she planned - well, 'planned' might not be quite the right word - to land with her full momentum on the thing, driving the weapon in further.

Yuki sees just short of everyone getting hurt, and gets some sort of instinct. She revs the chainsaw and raises it high, waving it around like a madwoman. "W-Whoa, that's a lot of power... not very destructive but... AWESOME! HEALING FIELD" she shouts, and a blue beam shoots from her weapon to the injured. Rather than pierce and murder them, it wreaths them in a blue glow that heals their wound, and continues to linger - the next attack, Yuki knew, would not hit so hard. Perhaps she was being overdramatic. But hey, if they were sentient they'd attack the healer anyway and looking less like the group white-mage might throw them off.

She then did something rather less than intelligent and charged the opponents (attempting to duck to the side if they fire again), and brings her chainsaw to bear upon the clothing cleaning appliance. Magic chainsaw hopefully beats demon possessed appliances.

Yoake takes a breath, disappointed at the lack of damage the robot is taking. "Come on already! Just give up!"

She stamps her feet, annoyed, and prepares another attack. This time silent, she lunges at Microwave A, now with her butt.

While she does this, the combatants all notice the ground shifting beneath their feet. Soon, they stand on some sort of floating object in a middle of a giant lake of water, only just big enough for everyone to still be standing on something.

They had been transported onto a Land.

Faith briefly looked around as she took the time to catch her breath, hands on her knees but doing her best not to take too long. Alright, that Minato boy looked hurt, and pretty much everyone else but her and the swimsuit was looking a little scuffed up. It didn't look that bad, but the idea of these things hurting all these people and hurting her half-sister was making her mad -- she wasn't gonna let that happen more than she had to.

She was still definitely out of breath though. "Huff... Freedom Beam, again!"
Blow another Freedom Beam on one of the bots still able to fire their hypers -- C, let's say, blowing the 4 most on the left.

Minato pulls himself to his feet, shaking his head; thankfully, his armor had taken most of that, though it did still sting a little. Still clutching Durandal, he does a quick scan of the group. The others were fine; a little burnt, but then they did fire a literal barrage of lasers at him. He focuses on Faith; she looked a little winded, certainly vulnerable to another hit.

He places himself between Faith and the robots, being careful to avoid being hit by her lasers. Instead of tanking it to the face, he holds Durandal up in front of him. He knew the drill; replicas of Regalia were, while strong, nowhere near the strength of the real thing. Still, between his ability to make more and his knowledge of Durandal, it wasn't as if he'd be missing it.
Destroy Durandal to cancel any bot attack that would hit him or Faith.

Spoiler: Rolls (click to show/hide)

So, Yuki's "field" kicks in, the beams healing and shielding everyone completely with sheer chuuniness. Simultaneously, the world around them shifts bringing them into a keijo arena, freeing Yuki and Minato from the confines of the alleyway. Distracted by the sudden change in scenery, C finds itself falling down a portal in front of B, stalling both of their beams while D catches a bullet to the head. It's not a clean hit, it managed to duck away, but its door has now been shattered and its microwave is sparking and smoking even more now. The Freedom Beam striking B proves to be more effective, causing its microwave to start smoking, though dealing decidedly less damage that her first attack.

Yoake, evades the strike to her stomach by bringing her ass towards her A, who, quickly stepping backwards, brings their bat in a baseball swing against her butt, and this time, it is A who comes out on top, the electrified bat shocking Yoake as it slams her away. She's off balance but not too hurt thanks to Yuki's shielding and having softened her ass during impact. Her foe backsteps and swings its uncoiling chord at her, trying to ensnare her with it while staying out of reach.

Noriko's attempts at harpooning a bitch doesn't work too well as spear barely penetrates into the fridge. Her impact however, proves to be a bit more effective, driving it deeper with a shower of sparks, though it proves to be quite resilient, quickly skidding backwards to dislodge her weapon as it prepares for a dropkick.

The incredibly slow moving dishwasher as it turns out, isn't too good against chainsaw-wielding maids. It manages to do something resembling a dodge that leaves it off-balance before Yuki just saws deep into it. Geysers begin erupting around the sparking, smoking appliance in as it attempts to force her back so it may strike her with a barrage of watery tendrils.

B and C finally fire their beams, B's beam is actually even more intense, though its head has spontaneously combusted in the process. The two beams rush towards the exhausted mage, enveloping her visage in a radiant explosion. Standing in front of her, the shattered remains of Durandal crumbling and fading away in his hands, is Minato.

Brandishing their bats, B and D, having decided Minato is to pimp to dare attack, charge at Shef, trying to knock him down so that they may club him like a baby seal.

And in all this commotion, moving with such speed it appears to teleport forth from behind where a building once stood, a new figure arrives, standing at the far edge of the platform. It wears a dark ragged cloak, wreathed in shadows that conceal what lies beneath. In its left hand, distorted and veiled in darkness, is a revolver. It raises it, taking aim such that both Faith and Minato were in its line of fire.

And then it pulls the trigger.

With a thunderous roar, a beam of light crashes forth from the barrel. Man in their arrogance had forgotten. They have forgotten the old ways. That of fear and reverence. When the skies held their fate in its hands. When they feared the dark clouds and the flash of lightning. Man thought they had conquered the world in which they were born, that they were its conservators, its custodians. It was in the most fleeting of vicissitudes that the heavens made man. And it is in the most fleeting of vicissitudes that they unmake man.

That beam, that bullet was a reminder of that.

C turns to face it, its door opening once more.

Minato hears the sound of the bullet firing and sees the beam flying towards him.

He sees Faith behind him. He hasn't got time to do much. He needs to think.

Summoning Durandal again would not help much. He could sense there was power behind this shot. Tanking it might not kill him, but it would certainly put him out of action and put Faith in danger.

He wouldn't let it happen.

The boy concentrates, feeling the power of the leylines run through him, filtered by the Gaia Core. He focuses on one Regalia, one that he had studied through his education as a Godslayer, a Regalia that had seemed lost to time.

Rho Aias, the Shield of Ajax, famed to be impenetrable by any weapon save Durindara, the Spear of Hector that became Durandal. The immovable object to Durandal's unstoppable force. Ajax needed no help from the gods in his war upon Troy, and Minato needed no help from the gods to save his friend.

Only his spirit and a little bit of good memory.

He yanks Faith to his side and raises his hand towards the bullet, as golden rings of energy appear from his palm, seven in number, glowing with the power of Heaven itself.

Ouch! That dumb robot hit her in the butt! Good thing the newbie protected her...

But, she had a score to settle!

Using all her power, she spins around with her butt out, towards Microwave A, hoping to knock it off the edge.

Minato jumps in front of her, and a thunderous explosion rings out as Minato blocks the attacks headed towards her himself, his sword shattering, and Faith can't help but be touched by the defense. But before she can say anything, Faith sees the figure seemingly pop into existence, dark and ominous -- and it raises its gun, a beam of brilliant light trailing behind the projectile it fires, and then Faith has just time to register his shoving her out of the way to help her again, and to register the changing of the battlefield around them into a flat platform before she decides -- time to return Minato's favor then. There was no way she was going to stand by and do nothing while he took all the hits. She shouts, in English now as she gets more worked up by the battle and as more adrenaline floods her system. "<COME ON! Let's go, why don't you try THIS on for size, a hit for HOPE!>" Her hand moves towards the Aramitama, at first as an empty scoop shape, but as she moves it in a throwing motion, something gathers at her palm to accompany her (cheesy) shout. Her bravery, her courage, her will to stand up and fight, her optimism and her good will towards Minato for his evident devotion to his teammates and defending her, and last but not least her determination to return that coalescing into a ball of light as brilliant as the beam of the mystery spirit, that she then hammers at the Aramitama, throwing it with all of her force as her hand whips forwards.

Yoake's unique terrain manipulation had long since ceased to surprise Shef. By this point, he simply took it for granted, utilizing it when he could. ...Hmm. An Aramitama. But Shef had his own situation to deal with, namely, the two microwaves charging him. In the few second before they reached him, he unlocked the pistol from the iron grasp of the exoarm, and moved it to his right arm. With his newly freed arm, he swung his armored fist at one microwave, attempting to slam it into the other. He then fired a few rounds into the center of the collision.
Attempt to punch Microwave D into Microwave B, then shoot three rounds into the combined mass.
