"How'd. What. They let you build a garage into the safehouse? Uh, hmm. Let's take the blue one. Don't want attention, alright?" How rich was this teenager? And getting this built into the safehouse too. . . It occurred to him that having knowing Yoake was could be extremely useful. Annoying maybe, but certainly useful.

"You've got to be fucking kidding me. . ."

Well, here goes nothing.

Noriko conjured her spear and slashed the weapon across the man's chest, hoping that her strength and the Regalia's keenness was enough to get a clean cut that wouldn't just rip his chest cavity apart. Assuming it went well, she'd open up his chest while doing her best to avoid retching and grab a scalpel to go after the blockage with, using her Requiem rather than her fingers to control it.

Spoiler: Rolls (click to show/hide)
[Now Playing: Big Blast Sonic]

Conjuring your spear you slice the patient's chest open, the cut fast and clean, giving you access to your adversary as your wind ensnares a more suitable weapon to turn upon it. But coronary heart disease isn't just going to take it like a bitch, no, it has its own tricks up its cholesterol-sodden sleeves and it retaliates using Summon Minions!

To a battle cry of "HOLY SHIT WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" and "I THINK THE DOC'S LOST HER MARBLES!" your new foes enter the fray.

Minion, Nurse A has been summoned!

Minion, Nurse B has been summoned!

Minion, Nurse C has been summoned!

Minion, Nurse D has been summoned!

Nurses A and B just kinda scream a lot, it's pretty annoying but not enough to distract you much from your work. Nurse C on the other hand lunges at you, trying to tackle you away from the patient while Nurse D tries to catch your arms and force you down.

Noriko more or less attempts to simply muscle through the attempts of the nurses to interfere with her; still, it was probably a good thing that she wasn't physically holding the instrument she planned on using for the surgery. She had some shouting to do of her own, namely: "STOP FUCKING SCREAMING AT ME AND HOOK UP A GODDAMNED BLOOD SUPPLY OR SOME SHIT!"
The AIs in her ear weren't exactly spared either: "HOW THE FUCK DO I DO THIS AND AVOID GETTING ARRESTED HARDER THAN ANYONE HAS EVER BEEN ARRESTED BEFORE"

In the midst of her shouting, however, she's examining any x-rays or anything else of possible use in the room, and trying to use that as a guide to maneuver her wind-controlled scalpel toward the blockage so that she could cut it out.

"WHY DIDN'T WE SEND THE PERSON THAT CAN ACTUALLY HEAL TO DO THIS?!"

While the nurses fail to really restrain you in any meaningful way, they also refuse to listen to your instructions and kinda just obstruct your sight and generally be quite the nuisance. Might not seem like much now but once you start getting that scalpel in, it could be an issue. Well, Nurse C at least. Nurse D sorta just trips over and almost falls face-first into the damn patient, they're still getting back on their feet right now.

"Your cover's still up, just fly out and discard it. They won't be able to trace it back to you."
"S-sorry! We didn't think this would happen!"

Glancing through the imaging equipment you do however manage to locate the blockage no thanks to the nurses, it's a fairly large one, a fatal one, unless of course you gouge that bastard out.

So yeah, Nurse A is running out the door yelling for help, Nurse C is still just being an all round nuisance, D is trying to get back up, and B is kinda just standing there awkwardly while the coronary heart disease glares at you menacingly. Well as menacingly and glare-ily a mass of cholesterol can manage anyway.

"If you're not going to be helpful, then LEAVE." Noriko grabs onto Nurse C and attempts to nicely, gently shove them bodily toward the door hard enough that said nurse wouldn't really have a chance to resist, but avoiding putting the physician through the wall or dislocating her arm or some such. After doing so, she goes for the scalpel she retrieved earlier, and more or less tries to cut her way toward the blockage by instinct, doing her best not to hit anything important on her way.

Meanwhile, at the Kumon Mansion....
Minato labours quietly in the kitchen, a bead of sweat forming on his brow as he works on....making a bento box. Behind him, a Kumon Group laptop quietly conducted a search of various international databases, supernatural and civilian, for anything on the residents of the Appleton Estate.

He wasn't a bad cook at all; he wasn't exactly trained how to cook, but between wanting to not have to rely on servants like all those spoiled rich kids in anime and needing to eat a lot more to keep up his Kamen Rider-esque lifestyle, he learned. He could cook and make food well enough to survive and enjoy it, but he was no five-star chef.

Bento, of course, wasn't exactly something he was accustomed to making. After all, he just went out and ate at the maid cafe for lunch or on his way back if he needed to eat, or else just ate at home; he was plenty rich enough to do either. But he knew Faith wouldn't want to eat at the maid cafe; he'd seen the look on her face every time she spied one of the lovely ladies at the cafe or even just at the costume. As disappointed as he was, Minato felt like forcing the issue wouldn't go well.

He could, of course, just invite her out to a date at a nice restaurant, but it felt like he'd just be trying to show off his money. After all, Faith was from America, and she was pretty, well, pretty; most guys probably would've tried dating her and bringing her to nice places. So that was off the table; Minato didn't want to just be another suitor. He wanted to make this the best he could for her, as he did all the other times.

So a garden date with homecooked food it was. Minato insisted on making the food himself against the protests of the family chef; he'd pointed out that, otherwise, there was no point in him not having just invited her to a good restaurant out in Tokyo proper.

That, of course, didn't remove the fact that he was struggling a little with the bento box. He sighs as he flattens another failed rice ball.
".....Good grief."

So, you shove C out the fucking door. They do a good job of resisting, not good enough though and you eventually manage to force them out. Eventually because Nurse A's screaming had summoned minions in the form of a security guard and two good (if this even counts as "good") samaritans who were trying to get in the same time you were trying to clear the room. Before any of the fallen civilians can get back up you rush over to the patient and engage your foe, trying your weapon into them.

They're wounded now, staggered too, but they're standing their ground and not about to fall yet, plus due to really just amounting to a cholesterol deposit they aren't too vulnerable to stabbing, even with your enhanced strike destroying part of them outright. Still you do have an entry point for a wind magic attack though you'd have to be pretty damn careful with in.

By now B has fainted, D has finally gotten back up and is trying to put you into a bear hug and...

Oh great. So uh, Security A is getting back on their feet with a fucking taser and Samaritan B looks like they're about to try and fucking spear tackle you, which normally wouldn't be much of a problem if it weren't for the fact that you have a fucking open heart surgery going on behind you.

New Scene: Yuki
Welp, the Sealer's arrived. Elly's the name. Just Elly, no last name apparently. And surprise, surprise, like every other damn Godslayer around here she's dressed like a complete twat. Neat, conservative, monochrome, that's her attire, sort of like what you'd expect from the member of the clergy, without wearing anything you'd actually expect from a member of the clergy, her outfit consisting of a black hoodie with a touch of silver, black gloves, grey pants and a pair of high boots leaving no part of her visible at all, not even her face, framed in impenetrable shadows out from which two vertical bars of silvery light glow, acting as stylised eyes.

"Aww... that one? That's the least cool one. It's still cool because it's one of my designs, but it's just blue. Fiiiiine, we'll take that."

Yoake heads to the deep blue car, and she sits in the drivers seat, putting on a pair of black sunglasses which seem to reflect stars, despite you being inside and it being daytime.

Noriko shouted something best left untranslated at the behavior of the two security guards. Yes, she was a probably-dangerous probably-crazy woman who had no business in a room like this at all, but that didn't mean they had to scoop their brains out and leave them in the hall. She yanked at both of the guards with wind magic; Guard B was buffeted backward in an effort to slow down or interrupt his tackle, and she tried to tug Guard A's aim toward B. That hopefully dealt with, she tried to slash at the blockage with another precise blade of wind magic, in an effort to either break it up so that was gone or physically remove it from its problem location entirely.

"You design cars. As in, just the exterior, or the whole thing?" To be entirely honest, Shef was both already regretting this, and at the same time rapidly becoming infected with curiosity. The girl couldn't be more than twenty, eighteen or nineteen if he had to guess, and yet she apparently taught a sport, designed cars, and was insanely rich. From what he could tell, she wasn't the heir to an illustrious family like Minato, and so Shef was left with many questions desperately in need of answers.

Meanwhile, in the Tanjobi Apartments
In one of the many apartment complexes in Sendo, the blonde American transfer student sat at her desk. She didn't have to do as much work as Minato did preparing for this date, she didn't have to prepare a meal or anything (Minato, dashing image of chivalry that he was, had already offered to make a meal for them), she just had to get herself looking presentable and then go meet Minato at the garden he'd picked out.

Yet Faith still found herself in something of a panic. What if Minato turned out to not be that interested in her? What if she got all depressing and ruined everything? What if Minato was so disappointed by her wearing normal clothes and not a maid outfit that he hated the whole date? Well, alright, that last one was totally ridiculous. But Faith was NOT used to getting this much positive attention, and it was whipping her up into a bit of a tizzy... maybe, she figured, a shower would help.

Faith reflected that she was right as she stepped into the legholes of her pink undergarments in the bathroom. That shower had been relaxing and calming, and though she was obviously still worried, she reflected that if she stood there and hesitated she would miss the date. So she pulled her panties up, put on her bra, and riffled through her dresser looking for things to wear. That shortish but still innocent blue skirt? Perfect. That cute red shirt of hers? Also perfect. Well, she looked presentable now for sure, but she hoped she also looked pretty! Nothing to do about it now but go, though...

Faith headed out the door, making her way to the gardens Minato had pointed out.

In spite of the magical gale, Samaritan B actually manages to press forwards, they've lost most of their momentum but they're still advancing, you might have to actually have to shove them out of the way... or Guard A could just tase them like an idiot. Wow, you barely had to even had to even mess up their aim because it was so terrible in the first place. Nurse D meanwhile has way more luck and manages to bear hug you. It's well, annoying, but you weren't really doing your surgery using your arms anyway, though they're trying to force you down proves to be fairly distracting.

Goddamn it, this is getting annoying, so much noise so much distraction. You're forcing air in there but you haven't really needed to do anything like this before so it's pretty hard to get the wind blade to manifest without just slicing open the artery or forcing the blockage deeper.

You need more time. You need to focus. A bit of an issue seeing as Security A is dropping his taser and running in to help drag you down. God fucking damn it.

Meanwhile, in the Kumon Mansion....
"Guess it can't be helped. I'll have a look later."
Minato sighs as the search is, seemingly for the moment, unsuccessful. He looks over at the bento boxes he wrapped, one for himself and one for Faith; not exactly artisanal masterpieces, but given Minato wasn't exactly trained in the art of making a good-looking bento box, and given he was in a hurry, not exactly bad-looking either. And the food was decently cooked.

The boy looks at himself in the mirror, adjusting the collar of his jet-black suit. Minato was always into wearing good, tailored suits; his parents had always told him that his grandmother was the same way with dresses, wanting to look always presentable and sharp. In many ways, Minato was very much a mirror of Yukari Kumon, dress sense, appreciation of the opposite sex and treatment of the opposite sex included. This suit, of course, wasn't exactly businesswear; it was specifically eveningwear, falling well across Minato's athletic frame, complete with a red tie to stand out against the black undershirt.

And the way both Kumon scions treated the opposite sex was to look as good for them and treat them as good as possible. Minato also slotted the Gaia Driver into his pocket; though wearing it right now wouldn't be the best idea, Aramitama had a tendency of popping up at the most inconvenient of times.

He pauses. Tsukasa had told him something had changed within the Driver, something due to Minato's overuse of the Dai-Henshin mode, something she'd spoken to him about a few hours ago, when he went to have his Driver checked. Minato rubs his chin in thought, before smiling.
"Well, if I'm going on a date, best go in style, right?"

He holds the Gaia Driver to his waist, as the belt materialises.
"Henshin!"

Faith found herself pedaling her bicycle, with her phone semi-precariously pinned against one of the handlebars and sounding its instructions out loud in English (the slight concentration she needed for Japanese would possibly make her crash) as she took this turn or that. It was perhaps a more difficult process to go to the effort of wrestling her bike out of her apartment and down the stairs, but Faith didn't have a car or anything and it took a shorter amount of time to get to the garden this way than walking... plus she REALLY didn't want to show up at the date at all disheveled or sweaty. She shuddered a little just at that thought; he wouldn't like her and it would be awful, really.

Thankfully, having brought out her bike Faith found that she was pretty much okay on that front, and despite her precarious phone-carrying ride she got to the gardens without any scrapes or crashes! When she actually got into the gardens, she was rather immediately pleased with Minato's choice of location for the date. A burbling little brook, bright green grass, and vibrant flowers and bushes... it was a beautiful display of nature, and Faith couldn't help but immediately be assuaged of some her nervousness... if just a little bit. Faith really liked nature -- unassuming, often placid, sometimes energetic, and very frequently beautiful. Yeah, even though she was now just waiting for Minato to show up, Faith had a good feeling about this date.
