Allright! One of the tank launched things that everyone uses and the soviets came up with one of the first good forms of.

Well more one of the giant Meccano set bridges, then a Armoured vehicle-launched bridge.
I think that pic giveing you the wrong idea, that's just the back for the truck the bridge came on.
The full set of pics show how it's just bolts togeater by hand.

It was the lack of planking which caused me to assume that it was a vehicle-launched more than anything else.

I'd think so, since that's what we bought it for.

Is a cutting torch a specific equipment or would it be part of one of the toolkits? Do we have to specify which items go in which vehicle? I'm guessing we might have to do this if we have get into load management mode or lose stuff Oregon Trail style.

Also Paul searching around for the cutting torch is more roleplaying than tactical decision since my line of thinking has towing as probably the better course of action rather than deconstructing the bridge. I don't recall anyone's character having a construction background, but I could be wrong. My character is unskilled at construction and has a driving skill of 8 for wheeled and 7 for tracked.

A full size gas cutting torch is a separate bit of kit, but there's a hack saw in the basic tool set and a big lumber saw.
The bridge just slots and pins togeater so there no skill to taking it a part or putting it up but it just might take you longer.
(Really there have races to see how fast one be built, this one is 9 minutes.)
As for kit as long as both vehicle are together im not bothered about item management but if you lose one then you'll have to chuck what's in it (think i'll just coin flip down the item list if it comes to it.)

Sorry for taking so long to participate, having really irritating but ultimately minor issues with my computer. Am mostly if not entirely forgoing an accent, would probaly go overboard otherwise.

Just to check I'm not misunderstanding, we are crossing at the bridge by Uniejow, taking that apart, and heading north to hide in the forest by Kolo?

As for who is with who, fine either way, though should note I only have a 0 in autogun.

I think the plan is take down the Uniejow bridge, then cross further north.

Also, autogun skill is for machineguns, automatic grenade launchers and autocannons. So, unless you grab the M2, yer fine.
For the recoilless rifle, the skill appears to be grenade launcher, incase one wonders.

Yup.

I also only have autogun-0 (though at an effective skill of 10; STR is nice). I'd ride in the M548, possibly taking the M2 if noone else does. Otherwise, I can also drive.

How would it look going overboard with it, then? ;-)

Something like:
"Kolo vorks, ozer boor zouls vill haffe to find zeir ovn vay. I vill ko vith zee cheep?"

Actually this was sort of fun, but just looks annoying and I no doubt messed something up.

I'm not quite sure what's needed to continue; we should probably just move out?

Ya mean that we had the option of buying more? Huh.

Also, that was easier than anticipated...
