A Yeah. Besides the whole feud assassin thing we had going on for a while the elves have seems cooler to me. At least they didn't curse us with magic and they gave us the cloaks. Legal adoption is also sometimes used to help pass along property to a partner, but it is doubtful such an adoption would hold much legal weight (woo civil war), particularly for a greater lord.
