I'd go for D so we can start a personal quest (Hee~ :P Wizard quests) but everyone's going A or C.

My reasoning was that we ask the dwarfs first, they probably tell us what it is, ask for a ridiculous price if it's serious, at which point we tell them to fuck off and get a Wizard instead along with an amusing quest of some kind.

Although adding to that--they'll probably add a time-anchored curse or whatever to force us to take the initiative. :P 'You must {do x}!' that isn't a nice wizard's quest.
