The harvest was bontiful this year - definitely good news for your depleted populace but maybe not so for your depleted Treasury, as the priests and governors alike loudly ask that a harvest festival week is sponsored by the Duchy to lift people's spirits and reward their hard work.

A) Naw, we just ain't got the money.
B) Finally, it is party time!

Many a people of your Duchy succumbed to a strange disease in the last weeks.

It causes them to lose hair and eyesight, develop incurable fevers, vomit blood and finally spiral into slow, agonizing deaths. The victims are all over the Duchy, but the numbers go into thousands in the eastern lands. It is a disease unlike any previously seen; tis not a plague, nor swamp fevers, nor others known to your medics.

"Surely it has roots in the supernatural." Say some of your more pious courtiers, and the rest find no other option than to nod along. You decide to...

A) Search for a Wizard!
B) Hire lvl20 adventurers to find a cure abroad.
C) Turtle up and wait; like any plague, it will come and it will go.
