You decide to not go to what is obviously a cheap assassination attempt. Or something.
You continue to run with your horsemen after the hostiles, before a messenger brings a message from the north - several cities banded together in support of Singularist faith! They decalred that they will not follow a man that tosses away decades of religious peace in name of 'balance'.
Emergency council is hosted with your officers, Eidach and Atan.
"We should call Feodh to split his forces and march against the northern rebels." Say the officers.
"We could ask our liege to swing by the north and bring the rebels to order." Says Eidach.
"We should pick one side of the conflict - if some cities rebelled in name of Singularism, who is to say some others won't do the same in support of Acceptancy?" Says Atan.
As for handling the northern rebellion...
A) Feodh can split his forces; he has plenty of foot to go siegeing several settlements at once!
B) Feodh should keep around Luathbas - but its time to ask King Eón to help us against the rebels.
C) In time we will deal with it. It's not that bad. Let's concentrate on the south first.
As for picking up sides...
A) NEVER!
B) Let's offer Singularists some favors if they join the Crown against Acceptants.
C) Let's offer Acceptants some favors if they join the Crown against Singularists.
D) Let's call up Pantheonists to provide numbers against other cultists.
