Your wife, by now slightly annoyed with the thumping, stops her sewing and looks after you as you pace about the bedchamber.

"You're worrying too much, dear husband." She says. "But mayhaps you should ask the Spymaster to send some agents to look into whereabouts of your son in the Gubta?"

A) "Spies! What I need is my Army going and mounting a search and rescue operation for my dear boy!"
B) "No, no... that would be too hasty yet. It's not even the new decade anyway. I think I can wait half a year longer before acting."
C) "Indeed! I will go ask him to send his agents immediately. What would've I done without you, my dear? *smek*"

We should save it, and here's why.

The trade deal we had was from the same area we sent our son to (IIRC), and he's coming back with the turn of the decade. Odds on there's a damn good chance our boy will return with marvelous news of lands beyond, and the potentially lucrative trade deals they have.

So, keep it until our son returns. After that, we give it up.

Ohgoddamnit.

B He's a grown man. He'll be fine.

Also I gotta point out that not only Estwalf reached his 40s by now, which is a record for PC leaders in this game, he also surpassed Houlandin III's reign of 19 years v;

Actually, this is an excellent point. He'd probably be a bit miffed if we went all mother hen on him. Changing my vote...

Nice! He's getting up there by Medieval standards. The usual life expectancy for the period was about 35 years, although he'll hopefully at least make 50 since he's king and all.
