Back to the present though, the Kiwi emissary arrives.

Courtiers chuckle and snicker; no self-respecting kingdom would borrow money; tributes and pillagery and taxation is the way of monarchs. That has ruined few promising kingdoms in the past (like Luathbas), but it's the only true way!

"We ask for a large amount of money to cover our expenses* and offer to repay it with interest over span of five years.*."

To expand more on my vote, we actually only have 3 economy points right now. So giving away 4 is Bad Ideas TM but if we can negotiate it a bit, we might end up making out in the end

I think we have 4 after selling the copper. So we could just afford it. But we shouldn't, obviously.

If it was a loan for 3 economy to be paid back over 4 years, maybe. 33% is a reasonable rate.
