Of course, I shall give you 100 gold in advance, to pay the mercs and get weapons. I know this is a risky move, as you may run off with the cash, but know this: if you do, I will find you, and I will kill you.

Excuse me Your Highness!

I'd like to take a moment My King to congratulate you on your first day.

We have had atleast 3, maybe 4 guild enlistments.
No attacks.
High interest in the kingdom due to your royal bloodline.
And even this business with a werewolf adds just enough intrigue.

Now as night sets in, the werewolf(if there even is one) may become more active. It is a full moon. There is also the various other horrors and simply not-do-gooders that would take advantage of the night. Not that I'm especially superstitious or anything, but this fairly unsecured kingdom is a prime target. We do not have knights properly equiped, and we have no peasants to enlist as guards.

However I am hopeful. We may see more membership during the night. There's bound to be hunts if you keep interest in it. If the guild leaders had funds to better equip new members we might have good news in the morrow. A werewolf head on a pike would send a message that we resolve problems swifly.

I do not wish to see the werewolf's head on a pike, I have... Another idea.
I would also like to give the guilds access to the royal treasury, as long as they consult me first.
Hmmm...

I already have. I gave my results to him via private letter, so as to keep my skills somewhat hidden from the public.

(Send me a copy then. I may make use of it.).

I would also like to give the guilds access to the royal treasury, as long as they consult me first.

Care to elaborate? That means nothing.

Edit: if you want to make private arrangements that's fine. I can stop reporting the coffers if Voido is going to actively track it for you.

Tarkin has chosen to step down from MonkMaster. Historian is responsibility enough, he's expressed. And I understand that.

We now need new leadership in the Monk's Guild.

The key responsibility needing tending, is to list the player names.

Busting through the doors of [room name] comes a peasant. How he got here is unknown, but in one hand is a book of prayer and the other a quarterstaff.
I, Dustan Hache of Swadia, volunteer to fill this role!

Until the king makes it official, I will marshell you in as the guildleader of the monks.

The most pressing task is to list the guildmember and courtmember names(to which username).

I have recorded you as Lord Dustrian. Myself and the guildmasters bare the lord(or lordess) title.

You may appoint or take on the title of Brother or Sister to members of your guild.

Others go by Sir or Lady.

Lord Voido.

Your analysis of weapons and armours in Zalfari seems sufficient. Would you post this information in the OP of the other thread.

I will now grant you full ownership of a stockpile of several of these items.

Choose 10 of the most basic items, 5 of the next tier, 3 of the next tier, and 1 of the next.

You may give or sell these.

Before I can tend to my duties, I need to have a census of the players peasants currently around. A simple list will suffice, as I can locate the information from there.

Lords, you may each appoint 1 Count(Or Countess). This person will take over in time of your disappearance or death(they made then appoint your new character to the same role).

Lord Dustrian. *offers a scroll*

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

In the future, once fully appointed, you will be able to oversee spells and abilities, working with Lord Shragnar, though they do not need all be for combat.

As always, any time you feel overburdened, appoint tasks to your disciples. In time your role may grow to include tasks more than would be expected of just one person.

At this time I consider Tarkin to be your disciple.

For recording future members...

here and here.
(Should strongly reference their username. When players die they get a new name.)

(To clarify, feel free to modify and make up names.)

A new monk(OceanSoul) has shown greeat interest, in spell research.

As this is the one of the fundamental functions of your role, and since you have not officially been appointed that can present a kind of contest between the two of you who will become monk master, officially. You might wish to present why you feel you'd make the best case. Or you can decide in advance since you were first and I think the king would honor that that you can put this new monk in charge of that area while you tend to what you have and keep your leadership position. You can also negotiate this with the new monk.((Who I will now formally invite to comment onto matters relating to this)).

(Regardless, as of this time at hand, you are active in charge, of recording and assigning names such as for OceanSoul and piratejoe, who need them soon)

Personally, I can see several ways this can go. First, you could do it all yourself. Second, you could work on the system magic is based on, and I help make spells for it. Third, you handle other parts of Magic (alchemy, summoning, magical objects, etc.), while I make the basic spell systems, and we can both make spells. Fourth, you make the spell system, and I offer potential balences/additions/spells to the system, which you may or may not accept. There are other ways to do it, but these were off the top of my head.

As for why I may be a good Monkmaster, I will always have some amount of time each day to check the threads and do my duties. I may not be the most experienced among us, but my mind is filled with ideas, and with little refinement, any of them could be great additions to the systems.

Work on a potential forum game for my return to Bay12. Figure out parts that puzzled me before. Find more things to figure out that I can't. Work on another game instead of solving them. Get distracted and stop working. Remember it a week or two later. Remember I'm still on hiatus. Illogically, Be too ashamed to return yet. Repeat ad nauseam.

Finally have a game completely ready. Wait a week before posting it out of laziness.

My King, if you have designs other than this for the beast, I beg of you to make them clear. For the hunt is on(and this is the natural conclusion). Incapacitating a werewolf is a tall order, and may yield little reward.
