Required exported wealth for forgotten beasts?

What is the required exported wealth to get a forgotten beast? I'm asking because I have 0 exported wealth, and I want to explore the caverns, but I'm afraid of getting attacked by a FB.

EDIT: Also, the top layer of the cavern I discovered is 23 levels below surface. I'm assuming this is a 2nd-layer cavern?

As far as I know FBs don't have any thresholds. Instead, explore carefully and make sure you have a drawbridge you can close quickly to keep any nasty critters out of your fortress (and I recommend an airlock, rather than a single bridge).

It's likely to be the second cavern, but doesn't have to be. Check the type of cavern trees (provided it's not a tree less mud covered cavern): The first one only contain two types (white and yellow with Phoebus), the third one is the only one that can contain blood-thorn and nether-cap.

Wiki should probably be updated. Starts with a vague 'are attracted by population and wealth' but I've not seen much evidence that either is true. They don't run on the same triggers as titans do they?

They definitely do not run on the titan trigger. I commonly get them before reaching the titan pop trigger limit.

I've had approximately 20 dwarves and when I breached the first cavern layer, it was full of dead foo men of some sort and the area was splattered with forgotten beast extract.  The dead foos were in the Units list, but the FB wasn't.
