Manufacturing and dealing weapons is a good career to get into. High salary, benefits, travel, social options. It's all there. The downside? There is a chance you'll end up with a bullet between your eyes if a deal goes south, or someone on your security detail gets paid a few extra zeros to take you out, or at least turn the other way while someone else does. Oh, and your 'friends' are likely to sell you out by tomorrow morning. You'll also have to deal with government reach, especially if you're running a front operation. Which you are. You sell to both sides of a conflict. You take a hard neutral stance on world affairs. You don't care about anything except how many triggers are being pulled, and how many more empty hands you can fill with weapons.

Ardite Industries. A profitable research and development corporation that is pretty respected in the professional community. Well liked, but not flossy, so Duncan avoids drawing too much attention to the company or himself.

Well, it's time to get down to business. How will Duncan spend the week?

I suppose the first thing to do is find some contacts that we can purchase arms from in bulk for cheap. I imagine we are pretty good at networking since we own this business and all.

Duncan spends the week looking for contacts that would sell decent quality arms to him in bulk for a bargain. On Tuesday, he manages to find only one contact; the Demarco Gang. Their wares aren't anything of note, just some basic AK47s they jacked from another small-time dealer. They offer Duncan 250 rifles for 1,000 dollars. He decides to buy them, rather than risk going without capital for another week.

Duncan now has some resources, and the AK47 is a popular enough weapon to turn a profit. This is, he thinks, the kind of momentum he needed to get going and establish his weapons dealing empire. With week one coming to a close, week two shows promise.

Then start looking for contact.

(The money is not in tradeing guns but smuggleing them.

Duncan attempts to break into the Oceanic smuggling scene. His plan for the week was to procure a car, stash it with weapons and import it to Australia. He is unable to find a car to act as a mobile stash though, which makes importing it impossible, due to such a car not existing.

On Friday, Duncan reaches out to the smuggling network to make a new contact. He finds one, an eccentric fellow who is a fresh up-and-comer to the scene, using the alias Honey Badger. He is suspicious of Duncan, as any sane gunrunner would be of a new contact, and will work with him for now, but only for sharing information. Cooperation related to 'sales' is, at the moment, off the table until Duncan earns his trust.
