John (ziizo): I feel bad about you losing all those splitter wands you bought, but, as the GM, I honor your commitment to the party's well-being.  Onward to adventure!

That's it, you're out of here.  Still, John tries to smooth out problems before they can get worse, handing over the collection of splitter wands he bought.  The prospector seems like she doesn't know what to think, but accepts your offer to replace what she lost.  The guards disperse and you all descend underground (or under-underground), back down the tunnel where you first arrived.

It's a long walk as always.  Sir Lootington makes some peculiar statements as you go, only serving to make it longer.  He starts falling behind the group.  This would be alarming, but it means you don't have to listen to him as much, so it evens out.

. . . Is this tunnel actually longer?  Like, longer than when you walked the other direction?  Morning turns to afternoon and you're still going.  Then afternoon approaches evening . . .

Day 7, Evening

You'd heard hints that geography was weird down here.  This is not what you left on the other side of the tunnel.



But hey, you remember those corpses!  You have been here, just not in this order.

So there's the scaled turkey that got eaten by the wall tiger.  And it looks like the predator finished with Helmacon: he's resting in several pieces, with his sturdier possessions like his mining helmet scattered across the ground.

The bodies are looking somewhat decomposed, of course.  And, uh, covered in nasty mushrooms.  That's not very pleasant to contemplate.

Check the "known maps" for the original of this location.  It's in the "Between Rock Bottom and the Halfway House" section.

As stated, Sir Lootington (TankKit) is some short distance behind you.

I modified the exit tunnel graphic to those double-spaced arrows to indicate it is a double-long tunnel.  The distance between major locations is determined randomly, and I intend to reduce time slogging through maps by allowing for longer transitions on occasion.  Though it would require you to be psychic in practice, I believe I will be alerting you about these distances on future maps so that you may plan.

Whew!  Okay, actual bloody infighting.

(I was predicting cannibalism from day one.  You have food to spare now, so I guess you needed some other reason to kill each other . . . )

I presume, Dustan, that you'll defend yourself from a direct threat on your life, probably with lethal force.  With that in mind, I'll advance everyone else's actions in small pieces within "combat round" timing, even if they're non-combat.  I have Durenadal (HugeNerdAndProudOfIt)'s list of priorities while away, so I'll want Overseer (FallacyofUrist)'s action.
