"Dustan, John, go help Dwain."

Run up to Hoarding Wastrel Cultist H and put him in a strangle hold.

"as much as I would like to, I'm bleeding over here and don't care to lose all my blood."
get back to stitching myself, at a slightly more relaxed pace this time. Be sure to stand near the packaged vitality.

I figure at some point, you're just gonna run outta fucks to give and just off yourself whenever you get hurt at all. It's not like there's any downsides to it. Hangover? Suicide will fix that. Stubbed your toe? Suicide. Headache? Suicide. Papercut? Suicide.

GM time: I'm going to have to say "no" on that stitching action.  Because thread for healing is an effectively-infinite resource, I'd been allowing you to try only once per (insert vague amount of time here).  You did, technically, succeed once already; please try a different action!

"No, you help Dwain I will take advantage of my enemy weakness"

Also John would have to jump over a few stuff to reach Dwain while Alyssa has a ranged weapon.

Then I'll just stand in the packaged vitality and enjoy not fighting for a bit.

"Fine."

Get healing from the packaged vitality, then throw my Javelin at whichever Hoarding Cultist is alive, Cultist G if both are alive.

(I'm ok with taking my chances, if it's awkward. Nothing worth doing ever came without risk. Though I still think we should have grabbed the vials and backed off, for the record! :P)

Pointing out the chronology here:

kill paralyzed wastrel then move next to Alyssa and Dustan (and Dwain if he manages to kill his wastrel) and use the last packaged vitality.

"Fine."

Get healing from the packaged vitality, then throw my Javelin at whichever Hoarding Cultist is alive, Cultist G if both are alive.

Because of the unknowns in the "kill paralyzed wastrel" command, any healing will take place next turn at the soonest ('cause the healer is still in battle right now).  So, Alyssa Alpine (Rautherdir), I'll be swapping the order on your commands.

Previous -- Next

This whole fight has been pretty violent.  Is anybody surprised?

Spoiler: Combat round order (click to show/hide)

. . . Alyssa Alpine, Dustan, John, hoarding wastrel cultist G, Dwain, hoarding wastrel cultist H.

Violent combat in close quarters, lit faintly--yet dramatically--by the magenta light.  Ah, it gets the blood flowing!

Alyssa Alpine contributes by flinging the phasestrike javelin toward the hoarding wastrel attacking Dwain.  It strikes and spins your target around, but doesn't do as much damage as you'd hoped.  Rather, the weakened wastrel manages the rest of it for you: after the excellent blow bypassing Dwain's armor, now the wastrel strikes the chain mail so badly as to slip and open its own wrist with the dagger!  The world of pain (and bloodloss) becomes too much . . .

Hoarding wastrel cultist G has been struck down!

Dustan ducked back away from peril during this throw, leaving John with the paralyzed-but-otherwise-healthy enemy.  The final (visible) enemy.  Hacked down in an instant with a pick to the brain!

Hoarding wastrel cultist H has been struck down!

That's enough of that.

( . . . You know what?  All nearby enemies are dead; I'll just move onto the packaged vitality.)

There may be little time, and Dustan has every intention of regaining his own health.  John clearly agrees and beckons everyone over in order to pop the last balloon of packaged vitality.  Dwain is a little slow and gains no benefit from the vapors; but the others manage otherwise, and Dustan is particularly pleased to see nasty bloody spots vanish.  It's not perfect, but that feels a lot better!

(I believe I will be busy this weekend, so hopefully I can get you some satisfaction with where the game is before the distraction.)

"Well, hopefully that was it. Dustan, you can use my bandages to treat Dwain."

Hand Dustan my bandages so that he can treat the most-injured member of our party. Grab my Javelin and stand watch.

Accept healing then tidy self up, and examine workshop in the light (place own lit lantern somewhere useful, also, perhaps to best reveal creeping shadows/bait photophilic photophobics). Glass vials, 'horseshoes' (I think I was going to take one), but mostly the various holes in the walls where further (or, indeed, prior) enemies may rush upon us through.

Accept healing

I'll just need confirmation from our crimson-colored comrade and I'll be set to put together an update.

go cheeck on overseer and bring our barrows around.

Err . . .

Well, if you do that, what about healing our tan-colored comrade?

And, if you don't choose to heal (for now), does this impact anybody else's action?
