Rajita continues to hide, quietly chanting a mantra.

"May Lord Vishnu protect us..."

Espada finds you. "Hey, I think they're all gone now. You alright?"

(Minor retcon time)

"Hey, are you alright?" Espada doesn't think it necessary to do so yet, but thinks being prepared to would be prudent.

Titus grabs a rifle and shotgun and magnetically attaches them to his back. He then moves over to the pile of handguns and grabs two, one goes on his right hip and one goes on his lower back. He yells out to Resalth as he grabs some ammo. 

"Hey Resalth, do you know any mending spells?"

"I mean, what can I say? We have been attacked by these ruffians, they have...disappeared? Anyways, I guess I am."

"We may be short on cursed items right now, but there's no fundamental law of magic saying objects I curse can't be used as sacrifices."

No looks slightly smug.

"But if time's an issue... give me a minute or two to replenish my essence reserves, then it won't take long to deal with the nanobots... provided they don't have countermeasures or I fail making an essence."

"We may not have minutes."

"There is that. I could use blood magic again, but I'm a bit wary of doing that again when the wound from the first one still hasn't healed. Finally, I could pray. Try to get the attention of a deity, ask it to boost my spell. That's a matter of pure luck, however. There may not even be deities in this plane."

"Define 'blood.'"

"....Presumably, the thing he's currently bleeding.

...I would like to have one of the sphere shooter thingies so I can study it."

"I will point out that there are upwards of trillions of different compositions of material that could qualify as 'Blood.' He is using a certain composition as a psionic stabilizer. The question is what falls under that composition."

"It's not psionics, it's magic.  Stop assuming everyone works on your rules.  And his blood is right.  There.  You can scan or whatever it yourself."

[WillowLuman]

"And more importantly, let's not waste valuable time arguing. Besides, if anyone shows signs of infection, Resalth will be able to fix that. How many charges do you have on that cure spell?"

"Five, and I can replenish those with but a short session of cantric meditation. Titus, I do know a mending spell, but I would need a much longer rest to prepare that. I do have a few healing spells charged, though."

"Right. Okay. So, hopefully you can fix No's hand, and then he can get started on whatever method is quickest."

"I mean, what can I say? We have been attacked by these ruffians, they have...disappeared? Anyways, I guess I am."

Many corpses still lie on the ground...

"Alright, just wanted to make sure. Combat is very distressing. Not to mention... anyways. We seem to have a pile of weapons, if you want something to defend yourself with. So, have you been traveling like this for long? Is this kind of thing usual?"

"...I would like to have one of the sphere shooter thingies so I can study it."

Titus has handily piled the ones yet unclaimed on the ground.

"Blood magic is magic using one's own life force to fuel and amplify a spell. There are two types of blood magic: Lesser and Greater. Lesser merely inflicts a wound as a consequence of the life force leeching, but Greater, though it supplies more power, modifies the wound using the user's affinity. Which is why I think this cut is likely cursed in some manner."

"Well, could you burn that curse?"

"Huh.  That sounds like an unimpossible thing.  Though, would it also burn your hand?"
