Beware. Not of the E, or of the U, or even of the &, @, and b. Beware the #.
(Translation:) Beware. Not of the elephants, or of the unicorns, or even the demons, carp, and badgers. Beware the husks, for they are relentless, corrupting, and unstoppable. Only the might of hell itself can even keep it in check; and only for a small period of time. If one sees such a being; run away, unless you like the idea of joining their ranks.

The elves's reaction is entertaining when you kill kobolds near the trading post while they're in it. Tree-hugging dirt-worshiping pansies.

1. Your horses can breed with horses that the merchants bring. Maybe this is what happened?

If one of the traders animals is of the same creature and opposite gender thats enough to cause impregnation, or the presence of wild herds even if they only pass through occasionally.

Not entirely sure that this is a problem as you now only need steel for items that go in the magma, and the magma workshops are now built above it.
3. Chasms will hold off frog and tentacle demons. Beware of spirits of fire and the adamantine demon.
Indeed. But splatbridges still work.
4. Dwarves still are stupid.
Nah, they are just taunting you.
5. Elephants are now French (why else would they become so peaceful?).
They are merely biding their time.
6. Carp are apparently water elephants.
Still better than hippoes, who rule the land and the water. Just await the day a wizard decides to crossbreed them with giant eagles.
7. River dwellers are more powerful than demons.
All that swimming builds muscles, while the demons have been sitting around playing poker waiting for someone to unseal them.
8. Unicorns are now to elves what elephants were to dwarves.
...and there was much rejoicing.
9. Carp and other deadly fish can't be killed unless you are underwater.
Not quite. You do need to be on the same level as them though.
10. ToadyOne is great.
This bears repeating.
