At least you've heard about things being able to scale walls without discovering that when a horde of armed zombies come streaming over the palisade. Block walls also slow them down (harder to climb) more than log/rock/dirt/rough walls.

Seems like ducks still enjoy cramming themselves up corners and trying to murder each other.
