[3] Everyone sees the floating blue brick, which quickly drops and acts inconspicuous. Nightmare Nekron is still dazed.

A preist looking fellow walks up and uses psychic telepathy to attempt to subdue the creature.
You notice that he's also blind.

[8 v 10] As the blind priest attempts to subdue Nightmare, he suddenly feels a chill down his spine, as though something isn't right. Burrowing into his thoughts, the priest sees...what he sees isn't known to the party, only that the priest begins screaming, yelling to get Nightmare out of his head.

Standing up, Roy instinctively fires [1 v 9] only for Nightmare Nekron to effortlessly smack the fireball out of his way.

Nightmare Nekron begins walking to the priest, craning his head [6 v 3] before slashing his face open, blood leaking out of three deep slices from his left cheek to his right.

[Imic]

Do we... I... That was a prisoner of... I... But...
Should we charge?

Merseth: Hmm...

We need to find a way to free Lun...

But how?

*It seems this world is now slightly unstable as a small portal opens, dropping a strange mushroom.*

Merseth: What's this mushroom thing?
*Merseth picks it up.*

Nightmare Nekron suddenly swoops in [2 v 7], but is suddenly tripped up by Merseth's quick feet as he faceplants against the ground.

"Merseth!" Roy exclaims, "Do you think you can help us?"

[Asin]

Merseth: "Yes, sir!"

*Merseth takes the mushroom out and hopes eating it will do something good.*

*He eats it, and grows 3 times his normal size!*

Merseth: Fear me, Nightmare! I am a giant!

*Merseth rips a tree out of the ground and swats at Nightmare Nekron.*

[8 v 9] As the brown tree trunk hurtles towards Nightmare Nekron, it's speed unmatched by the vicious strength of Merseth, NN narrows his eyes and ducks under it [4 v 5] before unleashing a hail of purple fireballs towards Merseth, which he ducks under.

"Careful! We don't want to kill Lun!" Roy warns, before snapping his fingers. [5] A wall of flames blocks Nightmare Nekron away from Merseth, but it doesn't go on very long.

*Merseth reaches his arm into the house and pulls out a bookshelf. He begins quickly looking through the various magic tomes to find at least a book on how to exorcise demons or other foul creatures from the magically inclined.*

"GOOD IDEA, MERSETH! THE GREAT PAPYRUS WILL JOIN IN YOUR SEARCH!"

Papyrus bolts into Lun's house and begins rifling through the bookshelves there looking for a tome which could contain the necessary spell.

[5, 7] Both find some interesting books. While Papyrus can only understand enough words to get the gist, Merseth understands the spell perfectly, since it's written in the Dwarven language. The reagents required are:

"Incantation: Ersem Nocturn"
"Blood of the Possessed"
"Sealing Object (Preferably Something Small"
Roy attempts to keep holding Nightmare Nekron off [3] but the mutated beast dodges the attack, launching itself towards Roy. [4 v 9] With a duck, Roy avoids Nightmare Nekron's lunge.
