Roy comes out of the desk and looks through it, finding an ancient drawing of an elephant and, for some reason, a block of cheese. Backing away from the desk, he asks Merseth, "Any progress with the translation?"

Merseth: "Now, as I read, it's gibberish. Written in madness, I assume?"

[Greatness942]

"Makes sense, I guess. Anything saner would probably have been destroyed long ago by the fire and the insane dwarves."

[Asin]

Merseth: "Or goblins. Hey, there's an engraving here!
...
It's an engraving of an engraving of cheese.
And here's another of an elephant killing a dwarf."

"AN ENGRAVING OF AN ENGRAVING? THAT'S AN INTERESTING CHOICE OF SUBJECT!

IN OTHER NEWS, I, THE GREAT PAPYRUS, SHALL EXPLORE ELSEWHERE FOR OTHER SUCH RELICS!"

Papyrus picks a random passageway and heads down it.

[Asin]

Merseth: "Papyrus! It's not a good idea to go alone! Let me go with you!"

*However, before anyone goes into the passageway, it collapses in the middle!*

Roy snaps his fingers and blows the debris away like it was nothing.

[Asin]

Merseth: "Thank you, Roy. Something feels... odd about that passageway. Do you hear music? Or am I going mad?"

[Greatness942]

"Music?"

Roy listens closer, only to hear what sounds like drums and a simple organ playing down the hall.

"Either there is music, or I'm going nuts, too."

[Asin]

Merseth: "Hmm... We should be careful. Who knows what's there?"

*Merseth tiptoes through the hallway and enters the room at the end.*

"OH MY URDIM! Roy, Papyrus, everyone come here! You won't believe this!"

Papyrus is already there. He ran ahead while Merseth was clamoring to stop him.

[Asin]

*Inside is an entryway to an underground city, deeper than the fortress. An entryway to the surface sticks out.*

[Greatness942]

Roy rushes forward, and peers down into the passage.

"What...what is that?" he asks.

[Asin]

Merseth: "An underground settlement. Under an underground settlement. Why?"

[Greatness942]

"Whatever it is, we can't be too safe. Stay behind me."

Roy walks down the first step when a bloodcurdling moan hits their ears, followed by a deep, inhuman laugh.

Papyrus somehow ended up not taking point and is following Merseth and Roy.

"THAT WAS NOT ME, IN CASE YOU WERE WONDERING!"
