((So, what do we do for NPCs?))

*cough*

((No, you aren't. You're invisible!))

Roy stares at the ship in amazement, and looks towards the alien soldiers. He then shakes the commander's hand, slightly disturbed by the odd texture of his skin, and says, "Major Roy Mustang. State Alchemist and Amestrian soldier. I don't think we're underground, I don't know where we are. All I know is that it's an island."

((Odd skin? They're drom an alternate future earth, woth guns and swords combined into one. Perfectly human. Warmongerers though. Typical Torumekians...))

Edit:((by that, I meant that they use swrds and guns unterchangeably, I might have not said that well.

((Sorry! Assumed they were aliens because spaceships.))

"Same here. By the way, you should check the material under your armor. Feels kind of strange. Were you in any fights before you crashed?"

No, we were flying over the sea of corruption, which is not anactual sea, it's a giant toxic jungle, so no. You don' pt find people anywhere near the sea of corruption, the giant insects drive them away.

I... Think that that's chainmail that you felt, by the way.

*a Torumekian runs up behind him*
General! I need to speak with you, this is genuinely bad, we have no idea where we are! We were supposed to be scouting out for Doroks, what happened? I was asleep, I felt a giant shudder...

They move away, having some form of conversation.

"Hmm, alright. Must be some weird, futuristic chainmail, then.", Roy muses to himself, trying to figure out what was so weird about his armor ((sorry!)). Cracking his knuckles, Roy continues through the house, and opens a chest containing what appears to be a Dwarven diary. He gives it to Merseth and asks, "Can you translate this? It just looks like random symbols, which I guess all languages look like."

The relative peace and quiet is broken when everyone hears the noise of the anti-meteor shield powering down.(well those who heard it previously know what it sounds like when it shuts off from too much stress.)
Some vibrations coming from the entrance are also heard.

"Damn it!" Roy climbs under a nearby desk for cover.

"NEVER FEAR, PAPYRUS IS HERE! NYEH HEH HEH!"

Papyrus rushes to the entrance to survey the situation and apply any means necessary to protect his friends!

There is a shout and the anti-meteor shield powers back up.
Papyrus can see the face had gotten through but he's back behind the shield again, glaring.

((gosh darn it I ran out of time.))

Papyrus squints at the face in the sky. He's almost glaring, but it's as though his face is simply incapable of glaring. Satisfied, he heads back inside.

"FEAR NOT, FRIENDS! THE MYSTERIOUS FACE IN THE SKY HAS FAILED TO ASSAULT US!"

Roy comes out of the desk and looks through it, finding an ancient drawing of an elephant and, for some reason, a block of cheese. Backing away from the desk, he asks Merseth, "Any progress with the translation?"

I remebmber that there were ruined ships in the Periphery which, or so it's said, once travelled to the stars.
