Hi all! This certainly isn't dead, and neither am I. It's just on unannounced hiatus.

I'm currently taking some major exams, ones I've been leading up to for at least three years. My results could make a difference of about half a million dollars in terms of lifetime earnings and all that nonsense, so I'm focusing most of my energy on them. Rather than stretch out the game with bi-weekly updates or worse, while worn out studying, I decides to make a clean break, as with a couple of other things, and come back to it afterwards (a month or so from now), provided people were still interested.

So there you have it. It's really nice to hear that people have been enjoying this, and from the responses, I think we'll definitely have enough players to go back to it when this hiatus is over. I should probably have actually said this, but ghosting with no explanation is an unpleasant habit of mine.

That should be it. Do of course feel free to post in here in my absence, or even PM me with minor questions, I'll have time to answer briefly at some point.

In the meantime, I may as well hijack this thread with a shitty sidegame!

Okay, so you're a witch. Obviously. And you're in london because of course you are. But oh snap it's olde-timey london and they're got things like carriages and lanterns and crap guns and uh, whatever else is olde-timey.
Anyway that's cool and all but the really cool thing is that you're a witch. Witches are cool. It's a certifiable fact. So you got together with some witchy buddies so that you can concentrate that coolness in order to accomplish... I dunno whatever you want basically.

In order to do this you need to fill out ye shitty sidegame character form:

name because I have no idea how i'd ever make a character form without this being on there
attribute eg. Witch of Chaos, Gun Witch, Witch of Wearing Multiple Hats
And then there's these stat thingies just put like 5 points in 'em:
blastiness aka how hard you can blast things with awesome destructive magic
witchiness for doing things like containing demons or turning people into newts
dickishness for just generally being a massive asshole to people, especially mortals
fightitude for boring murders that don't involve magic stuff
dodgitude for not being killed by things
sueness for doing your very own special thing that nobody but you can do because you're special

Right now you have several options:
Faff around olde-timey london, looking for things to do.
Look for some specific thing in london.
Go buy something, or "find" something.
Make a sweet witchtool using one or more of your shiny baubles (of which you currently have two. no you can't trade them.)
Scout out a real mission, a non-faffing about quest of sorts that will probably kill you if you don't bring help along.
Go read a book or something, you nerd.

Olde-Timey London is a big place. Full of people who might not want it to burn down, including people with even higher blastiness score than you. So that might prove difficult.
Here's a roll though.

You manage to instantly incinerate an orphanage. Good job.
