Did you build it before he turned decay on, or did you build it not on foundations?

Anything not on foundations is going to decay quickly.  The more foundations you have linked together the longer the decay timer will be for the building.

Also what god?  If Mitra I have tier 2 shrine you can use if you want.

The Yogamid rises! Praise the taste noms!.

Yarzag have crawled out from the wasteland soon got to work building a house for her self, it was simple and square.
Time passed as she gather branches, hunted the young shell-backs and rabbits for food and scrapeda life for her self.
But there was something more YOG called to her.

She left the house and headed north up the river, past the hyena and cannibal tribes.
Until she came upon a mountain, her this was the place Yog told her to build, to make not just a crude alter but a Yogamid!
The work was hard and doubly perilous , not only was there the cutting wind and sand, but the long steep climb and the rock monsters her work angered.
But after a three back brakeing days it was done she had raised a Yogamid.
And stepping back she could see that Yog is truly the highest god.

Since we are showing off bases I got a pair of quick shots of the current Towers of the Tower Hermits

Tower 1: Nearly taller than all local natural formations.  Built near a pretty dense amount of iron and coal.  Also spider country.  So many of the damn things keep getting in the way of my wood axe.

Tower 2: Built in the north edge of the desert to give closer access to being able to beat up different Exile factions than Tower 1.  This is slowly becoming the new main Tower, though not as tall yet.  Current plan is to get it high enough so you can just take a horizontal elevator over to Chaosmouth, for no other reason than because.

Tower Hermits is open to recruits, plenty of room in the towers.  So much in fact that it's really hard to tell if anyone else is in a tower with you.

I'll post the base I have in the same server as Shooer/Funk, and the one I have on my own server, which is way cooler on account of having 3 people to muse and gather resources.

Also, for you uninitiated, we slew the abysmal remnant last night, one of the earlier possible boss fights.

I'm wondering, since your character write-up was pretty good, if you are or plan on being an RPPvP server?

Yes, we are a RP-RP server. That is the term I use in the banner:

What does RP-PvP mean? Make sure your actions have a reason. I think the basic expectation is no (or few) random acts of violence. We have had 22 players come by in the last 5 days, and so far that's been true. I expect there to be a little random violence, since I cannot control all of the people that join, but so far the overall tone is of cooperation. As we move to higher level lands there might be more competition.

I want the competition to have a reason. Clan vs clan is fine, or religion vs religion, or "hey you took those nodes - I challenge you to an honor fight". "WTF LOL ZERG CHARGE BLARRRRRRH" because you are bored is not cool.

I have a light hand as an admin, so far I have done nothing. I want to do nothing. If someone is being disruptive then I will warn them, if they keep it up they get kicked. That's disruptive out of game, like personal attacks on global chat, etc. My goal is to kick no-one.

Nice, I'll probably come check it out in the next couple of days.  While I love the server I currently play on, right now the admin team is pushing the whole "ALL of the players!" idea and it's increased it's player cap to 70, has capped a couple times, and really sees a LOT of stability issues with anything over 40 people.  No worries on the PvP part.  I love RPing and even if an eventual character with a pvp oriented backstory would absolutely have RP reasons for doing so.  On the few RPPvP servers I've seen even the people who play things like Darfari tend to be less "eat all the people!" and more "let's creep out all the people!" which can be really fun

if i were to hop on and make a gladiatorial arena made of t3 mats, dedicated to crom in an exercise to eliminate weak warriors (a thing he'd like), would i get trolled hard or would people RP enjoy it?

i attempted this with a simple t1 arena on a now defunct server and it was a blast. the winner earned no reward other than GLORY and harvesting the losers body for gear/religion mats.
it was only 25 members big on this server, but the clans agreed that my arena was a neutral area, as it was in the middle of the map and had no real loot in it. it was a giant rectangle that took me a whole day to get just right with good viewing platforms and my judges throne presiding over the middle. there were water wells for drinking, unlocked chests of honey for food, and prep areas at both ends of the arena for readying gladiators.

shit i want to do that again but make it even bigger and grander.

If you wanna be really cool you should add bits of artificial terrain inside. Foundations and scattered pillars and such. Also, make it an oval or circle or something

Is it possible to make hanging cages with thralls in them? Y'know, for that full-on strip club experience.

Also kinda feel that implementing the goddess of lust before the god of savagery and animals (there was talk of Jhebbai Sag being the next god to get put in the game) was kind of a cheap shot, but alright...
