The Combined Motorsport Federation

1906 -The Automobile Club de France held the Grand Prix, comprising twelve laps around a 100km course, between Le Mans, Sailt Calais and La Ferte-Bernard. Ferenc Szisz claimed first place, followed by Felice Nazarro and Albert Clement

After a huge amount of paperwork, an unpleasant jungle of politicking and way too many arguments, the various constructors, officials, racers and fans had finally created the first constitution of the CMF. Within these pages describes the rules and regulations of a CMF approved motor race. This constitution is expected to change with the times, but for now it is considered complete. All that is left is the signatures of the founding members of the Federation.

Whislt a lot of the Constitution is legal mumbo jumbo, mixed in with clauses that have no effect to you, the following is a summary of the important parts:

• There will be one CMF approved event to be hosted at the end of each month
• Racers must be sponsored by a CMF approved Constructors team to compete
• Prize money is to be provided for and awarded by the host of the event
• Any Constructor may, at any time, propose an amendment to the constitution, be it a modification or elimination of an existing clause or the addition of a new one. This proposal must be seconded by another constructor to be considered valid. All valid proposals will be voted on at the next available CMF approved event. A simple majority is required for success, with each constructor casting one vote for or against each proposal.

So, as you might have gathered, this is a motorsport team management game. The focus will be on improving your vehicles, dealing with the fickle nature of racers and altering the constitution to create the kind of sport you want. Thus, we could end up with out own version of Formula 1, Motorcross or even Death Race if it pleases you. Whislt everyone starts with cars, there's nothing preventing you from using other vehicles.

There's also a reasonable set of mechanics, that for the moment will stay under the hood. As they become relevant, or if someone desperately wants to know, they will get revealed.
