Year 5
Nightmares plague the kingdom. It is then discovered the goblins posses in their territory a magic fountain, and what is spoken around it affects dreams. They seem to have inadvertently plagued the dreams of others just by there everyday missable temperament. However, while this cause is well known to be true by the wizards, it is not believed by the king and his knights, and the nightmares are allowed to grow worse causing monsters from dreams to appear in the real world. The Wizards' Court refer to this as the Binding Fountain.

Year 6

A massive volcano encircled by vast quantities of fog is located to the east, far from the kingdom.
At its base an entrance of stone was spotted and numerous small humanoids were chopping the burnt trees and migrating items from a wagon.
The exploration team did not approach when they saw the group take down a hyena pack with picks.

On the western side a large undead horde is attacking villages and the fallen become zombies.
The necromancer is suspected to be nearby.

On the northern side the barbarians have become quiet, perhaps preparing for an assault?

On the southern side a massive swampland was found, but more exploration is required.

Year 9: The king still refuses to believe in magic, saying that all the reports of undead are just stupid excuses to stop paying taxes, and sais that the Binding Fountain is a stupid myth. People are starting to think that he's not a very good king...

Year 12: A pretty bad year.

Month 1: A major drought destroys many crops. The king, David declares a rationing of water.

Month 3:The undead continue to ravage the countryside. King David acknowledges their existence and forms the Beleti Inquisition to deal with the threat.

Month 6: A new cult worshiping Moony is formed.

Month 7: The goblins send small raiding parties to pillage the kingdom. Inciting a response by the Belethian military.

Months 8-11: The volcano erupts, spouting ash over the land. The kingdom is blanketed in ash. A few die from ash inhalation. The crops die further, causing a massive famine.

Month 9: General Crastos is murdered by a goblin during a raid.

Month 12: The ashfall clears. The barbarians are still quiet. The maps are updated.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
There ya go.

Year 14:
In the east it appears the dwarves have established a hamlet in the outpost and are making massive steel siege engines!
Also in th east the goblin horde continues to raid villages as well as kidnapping children.

In the west
More villages are crying in terror as the undead horse continue to ravage the land.
A necromancer is confirmed to be riding on an undead warhorse with a black gold staff.

In the north the barbarians are attacking! They're coming in greater numbers than before and are aiming for the capital!

In the south an exploration team commanded by Sir Falzivin has confirmed the swamp to be inhabited by a small tribe of aggressive crocodile men.
However, they are unsure of their numbers at this time.

Year 15:

Scouts report that the dwarves are forming massive armies and going even deeper into the mountains, suggesting that they are not alone in the mountains, and that they probabaly have enemies.

Meanwhile, the Court of Wizards, also known as the COW, manages to successfully challenge and destroy the necromancer, improving the mood extremely well. They hae brought the magic staff into the hands of proffesionals for studying purposes only.

This time Belthia is much better prepared for barbarian invasion, the new king David Rim knew it was only a matter of time before the barbarians attacked again and he managed to push them off, but it is unlikely they will be able to properly cursh the barbarians this time, there's just too many of them.

Further study also shows that the 'ocean' is actually just a very large lake, and multiple clean pools of water are found and exploited, allowing the kingdom to slowly return to normal.

Further study of the aggressive crocodile men shows that thousands of them head to the mountains daily, and, considering all the massive armies the dwarves are making, it is safe to say that they are either very good allies, or absoloute enemies.

Meanwhile, a new general is hired, Sir Timdantlot, and he's a dwarf! He sais that he has been sent to study us and help improve our battle tactics, asking no favours whatsoever, nope, the totally don't insist that we go to war with the crocodile men, of course he doesn't, not at all!

Meanwhile the goblin group is growing extremely fast, and at this rate they could potentially have more people than Belthia in only a mere two years!
