Only one day left!

Methinks people are probably mostly waiting for [Caudecus Effect] to get written so they can write their own articles.
We can give it a while longer then, if people want to write? Anyone want to write but were waiting?

Cavern Wights
Cavern Wights are a race of [Pseudo-Men], they are blind, pale skinned, and savage. Their origins are unknown, some believe they were once people, turned into wights by a disease. Others believe they are just another race of [Pseudo-Men], born naturally in the depths, and that they just happen to resemble humans. Cavern Wights live in savage tribe-like societies, were the most brutal wights rule the rest in an unstable hierarchy. They are considered to be very dangerous, having been very prominent in the [Fringe Wars], where they, among many other horrors from the depths, poured fourth from the depths to lay siege to the frontier cities. Like most other [Pseudo-Men], The cavern wights have been the subject of many eradication attempts by the [Boogaloos]. These conquests are not met with much protest, but many feel that these conquests are done more out of spite against non-humans, than a desire to make the depths more safe.

The following are the available tags for the next round

[Danielsson]
[Deep Hollows]
[Divinity Epiphany]

By the way, you can write entries before these three are WRITTEN, so long as they've been claimed.

Our tie breaker ended in a tie. So no winner for A

B's winner is Ulysses Nemo Owen with Banery Fruit.

Vote for C now!

Danielsson

Danielsson Jennings was a very notable scholar and adventurer. But it may be better stated that he was a combination of the two: an archeologist.

Danielsson's many archeological expeditions have unearthed treasure troves of knowledge, notably texts referring to [Agoc], the [Cataclysm Text], and the method of converting [Avaldrite] into oxygen.

His most notable accomplishment, however, is unearthing the [Labyrinthine Pre-Collapse Facility], which may lead to a new age to a new age of technology once its secrets are unearthed(and its defenses are disabled).

Sadly, Danielsson is no longer with us. After the death of his son and fellow archeologist [Jennings, Edward], he claimed that archeology gave him no joy anymore and vanished. Rumors report that he's joined a guild. The most common guilds he is said to have joined are the [Trickster Guild] and the [Hermit Guild].

Deep Hollows

The Deep Hollows are the primary (and only consistent) source of [Avaldrite], and are thus vital to oxygen production. Located at least a dozen miles lower than the majority of the civilised world, they consist of pockets of vacuum that open up apparently spontaneously in untouched rock. The discovery of a new hollow is almost garaunteed to cause massive loss of life, injury and damage to property, due to the tremendous forces of suction they exert when freshly exposed to a pressurised environment. It is also however the cause for great celebration, as it signifies an extension of human existence beneath the surface.

Deep Hollows have been measured externally to be at most a mile in diameter, though reports from those that venture inside for the purpose of mining avaldrite or exploration have claimed that in some, one may walk the sides for days without encountering a bend, curve, or one's starting point. It is because of this, along with occasional inexplicable winds and other curious atmospheric phenomena, that many scholars believe the caves to be of variable dimensions, or else not bounded by conventional laws of space and depth.

Even with glowing avaldrite deposits, the Deep Hollows are curiously lightless places, anything over a hundred feet away appearing practically nonexistent. Aside from the precious mineral, huge deposits of finely powdered rock can be found scattered on the rock floor, which is occasionally flooded by brief, silent deluges of between an inch and forty feet of water. No point of origin or dispersal for these deluges has ever been discovered. Movement inside the hollows is held to be extremely risky, as when not within the sight of others, individuals and even entire companies have been known to vanish. Despite this, the vital mining operations continue, regardless of the danger. No remains are ever found; this may be related to the curious disappearance of human and animal remains within the hollows if left unwatched. No species is known to populate the hollows other than the blind and unremarkable [Sootmice], who remain the sole settlers of these barren lands. Vague sightings of massive oblong stone formations have resulted in some academics connecting these structures with the elusive [Granters of Avaldrite], though there is no evidence to suggest this.

Divinity Epiphany

An event in the history of the [Antidilutive Court], when it was determined that over a third of the people in the [Braddock Empire] were related to God, and thus exempt from non-administrative work. This led to a crisis, as the other two thirds could no longer support both themselves and the leaders. Famines were common and manufactured goods ran short in many places. Even oxygen had to be rationed in [Rivermold], and rumours had it a cult in [Myrmidopolis] had turned to cannibalism. Some scholars claim this cult still exists, but this theory is controversial.

The crisis was solved when an anonymous person nailed the following note to the door of a temple:

"The gut is as much a part of the body as the heart or the brain. We all are god, and god needs all of us to work together. It is not individual people who are divine, but society itself."

This statement, later known as the Divinity Epiphany, led to great changes in the Antidilutive Court's organization, such as allowing unrelated people become part of god through community service. The religion soon spread much wider, including to other civilizations, as doing so no longer required complicated political marriages.

Not all members of the religious order accepted this epiphany, however, leading to a schism ending with those still following the original beliefs creating their own sect, now calling themselves the [Pure Court]. Tensions remain high between the two sects, even to the point of brawls in the street over minor insults.

The Deep

The Deep is the de-facto bottom of the undeground, and is for all purposes considered to be the very end of existence itself.

The Deep is a vast sea of the ultraheavy [Hesphestus Gas], that spans indefinitely along a vast network of caves and tunnels. All explorers who attempted to find the ends of these caves either failed to do so, or never came back at all. In addition, because the walls of the deep are made of [Insalite], all attempts to tunnel through the cave walls and below the deep have failed. Because nothing sinks in [Hesphestus Gas], and the caves are effectively impenetrable, The Deep is considered to be the end of the world.

The deep is also home to the [Cavern Wights], which the scholars of the [Grandik Collegium] believe are attracted to the ever-present [Hesphestus Gas].
