Two things I've seen as I get the next turn ready:
1. Remember, two phantoms only. NJW has like 4 in his post. I took the first two.
I cited a previously created phantom (made by someone else) and didn't count it towards the numbers. Wouldn't this work better? Otherwise you get articles cited once in the first half of the lexicon and twenty times in the second.

Carthal Sevris

Formerly the largest settlement in the [Braddock Empire], Carthal Sevris is a ghost town abandoned long ago after a terrorist attack by [Atavist Knights]. It was famed for the fervor of soldiers raised within, as well as its role in ending the [Fungal Crisis]. The city was built into a natural cavern with only one way in or out, making it incredibly defensible, though nobody expected an attack from the inside. A natural fortress, most inhabitants of Carthal Sevris were part of the Empire's army in one way or another, and the town had more barracks than houses. The ruins of Carthal Sevris are located about two days' travel away from Granitedam, and indeed many families there claim to have originated from Carthal Sevris. Travel to the ruins is not advised, for rumours have it that several criminal organizations, including the [Violet Court], have hideouts there, and thus the safety of travellers cannot be guaranteed.

Clockwork Enhancements

There are two known sources for Clockwork Enhancements. One is the [Aberration Doctors], and is by far the most common (and most dangerous) source of Clockwork Enhancements. The other source is the [Tinker of Gears].

Clockwork Enhancements are various intricate mechanical parts used as replacements for the limbs of sentient beings, or alternatively additional limbs. They come in two categories. The first category is replacement. A replacement Clockwork Enhancement is one used to replace another limb, like a prosthetic. The second category is augment. An augment is a Clockwork Enhancement that does not replace another limb, but is used in addition to any limbs the recipient has naturally or artificially. An example of this would be the tails favored by the [Trickster Guild].

Clockwork Enhancements provide various benefits which may or may not be outweighed by the risk of spontaneous detonation(for Clockwork Enhancements made by the [Aberration Doctors]) or insanity(in the case of augment Clockwork Enhancements, which interface with nerves never meant to be used in such a manner). Clockwork Enhancements are generally far more durable than biological limbs, and can be used to exert much more force than a biological limb. For this reason, they are popular among soldiers. Clockwork Enhancements made by the [Tinker of Gears] may have other benefits as well, perhaps even acting as an artificial mutation.

Clockwork Enhancements require maintenance if made by the [Aberration Doctors]. Those made by the [Tinker of Gears] do not.

Cataclysm Text

The Cataclysm Text is the oldest tome in the Library of the [Gradnik Collegium], and the most treasured artifact of the [Braddock Empire].

The Cataclysm Text itself is a collection of theories from the first men who ventured below the surface, colloquially known as the [First Explorers], on the reasons why the surface was abandoned. These reasons range from descriptions of horrible explosive devices referred to as "nukes" to those of the wrath of an angry god. However, the historians of the Collegium say that past technology was nowhere near destructive enough, and the theologians say that the ancient gods were figments of ancient man's imagination. Therefore, it is the more scientific explanations that are more widely accepted.

Only one day left!

Methinks people are probably mostly waiting for [Caudecus Effect] to get written so they can write their own articles.

Nobody called it yet, right?  Dibs then.  Unless someone can write it before me, in the next ~2 hours.

Edit: Done.

Caduceus Effect
One of many underground [Anomalies], theorized to be caused by high concentrations of [Rashstone].  It is most frequently observed in the tight and lightless beehive tunnels that frequently develop in rashstone deposits, though it has been observed in many other geologic formations.

The effect is famous for the pronounced effects it has upon organic bodies, especially the extreme regeneration that humans sometimes undergo.  Less well known are the severe mutations that many suffer if they stay within the tunnels for an extended period; among other things, bone weakens and becomes rubbery, flesh bloats and elongates, and many secondary senses become sharper even as the eyes rapidly degrade.  Little research has been done to catalouge the myriad mutations, especially the more lethal ones, as most reliable information has come from {Placeholder}'s extensive research on the [Tunneldwellers].

Colin D. Errdock

((Fiddling with an odd idea here--{Placeholder} will be replaced by the person who actually writes up the entry on [Tunneldwellers], thus tying the author into the world a bit more.  I'll change it to some unused name if others dislike the idea.))
