This game was inspired by a Board game I've heard of called Paranoia where players are not allowed to know the rules and Imperial Nomic.
Primary Rules:
1. The secondary rules for this game must be kept secret.
1a. Discussing the primary rules is permissible.
1b. Posting the secondary rules to this thread is a punishable offense.
1c. Discussing the secondary rules in this thread is a punishable offense.
2. Players may PM secondary rule proposals to the emperor who may approve them at his her discretion. The emperor does not need to make his her decisions regarding the passing or vetoing of a secondary rule be public knowledge. Players may only make one proposal at a time and must wait for their current proposal to be judged before making another.
2a. Players may communicate with each other to determine how many proposals have been made and judged.
2b. A person becomes a player by posting to the thread.
2c. A player may leave the game by posting the following to the thread: I Quit
2d. A player ceases being a player if said player has not posted for a week.
3. Players who are caught breaking rules by the Emperor will lose points.
3a. The Emperor is liberonscien.
3b. The Emperor is able to propose new secondary rules to his/herself.
3c. The Emperor can not earn or lose points.
4. If a player, who for the purposes of this rule shall be called the accusing player, believes another player, who for the purposes of this rule shall be called the suspected player, is breaking a secondary rule then the accusing player may pm an accusation to the emperor in the following format: I, (the accusing player's name), think (suspected player's name) is breaking a secondary rule in this/these posts: (quoted posts go here).
4a. If the accusing player is correct and the suspected player has broken a secondary rule then the suspected player shall lose a single point and the accusing player shall earn a point.
4b. If the accusing player is incorrect and the suspected player has not broken a secondary rule then the suspected player shall earn a point and the accusing player shall lose a point.
5. The Emperor will only communicate in the thread by changing numbers in the thread and by changing primary rules.
5a. The Emperor may occasionally bump the thread.
5b. The Emperor will occasionally ask players questions.
6. Points can be spent.
6a. Things points can be spent on:
The full text of a rule.
- Each rule costs its number.
-- Rule number one costs one point, rule number two costs two points...
7. The Emperor may change these rules if the game requires it to function better.
