I hate to rain on the introductions parade but this probably isn't the best time - imminent, important decision time here. Whilst both lying and telling the truth seem equally risky to me I doubt we'll be able to persuade 'Laria to pull off the former with enough conviction, so I'm personally in favour of the truth, at least to some extent. Derm's suggestion seems reasonable enough so I'll support that.
