Whatever, If democrats did that, it'd be huge. "Both sides?" I don't get it.

Eh, these aren't just "lies" but fall into the category of "damned lies." These people don't even care about truth but rather just care about their narrative and will say (and do) anything to have their way.

I mean...the above article does say that he publicly apologized and admitted he was wrong without any duress. At worst, it sounds like he was misled by some bad information and then recklessly lept to conclusions and propagated those conclusions without bothering to verify them first.
