Oh if there demonstrably was something that can not be explained (it can allmost allways be explained), that still doesn't necessarily imply visitors fom out of space, another dimension, or time travellers.

The part where they fumble for words because ClAsSiFiEd and then settle on non human bilogical or some BS like that ruined all suspension of disbelief for me, such a mindnumbingly stupid dance, oh we wanna know but you can't say but you're under oat, so let me come up with something vague enough that innumerable theories may spring from it. Absolutely political theatre.

"Non-human biological" almost certainly means an animal of some kind, but one that can't be identified. Both the US and Soviet Union used a lot of animals in flight test programs during the Cold War, though one of the two was much better at getting the animals back.

It is no coincidence that UFO sightings in the US hit spikes in the 50s and 80s, and the conspiracy theories revolve around Area 51.

Area 51, also known as "Dreamland", is a facility on Groom Lake (a dry lake bed that makes a superb natural runway), which has been used to test the protoypes of just about every flying thing the US has built in the last century (starting with the U-2 program in the mid-50s).

Meanwhile, the 1950s and 1980s were the two times when prototype aircraft development was at the absolute peak. Some of those prototype concepts were even saucer-shaped!

Yeah it was such a blip in the media... Were there anything bombastic it would have been all over the place. So my first reflex is also was who's distracting us from what?

But this stuff has been ongoing for a while, I assume it's also this Gruscher guy who's been appearing on podcast and/or writing books and such, ever since the subject got a little more relevant again. Retired military right? You see im not that deep into it, but it is my assessment that there is a subgroup of people operating certain crafts that make them autoritative in the eyes of the public, and that they have basically havana syndromed themselves, because I'm not yet cynical enough to assume they just want clout. They perceived something interpreted it inacurately, and for some reason it's convenient to give them a platform. I'm not even excluding the possibility of a psychological mass phenomenon, or other weird fringe stuff like that. And also do believe that it's more likely that aliens exist than not. But aliens wouldn't need to risk loosing crafts and boots on the ground. They can reach, study and manipulate us over the internet. lol with a little wits they can probably make us build their landing pads to their specs before ever grazing the atmosphere, hell they can probably figure out how to amass the capital to manage the construction project themselves .

I'm going to do a real soft push back here against the idea that we can say it's not aliens because they would or wouldn't do X. It's already inherent to the belief that aliens are secretly visiting earth that there's some major flaws to our understanding of physics and the universe. Once you're at that point attempting to guess or ascribe motivations makes little sense. Furthermore it really doesn't matter. Good proof of aliens visiting earth will still be good proof regardless of if we can come up with a reasonable motivation for them to do so or not, at that point it's just a fact and our lack of understanding why wouldn't change squat. Of course that cuts both ways, lack of proof is a lack of proof no matter how well spun a theory is about why aliens would act in a way that makes them only appear in the distance on grainy video camera footage.

And also do believe that it's more likely that aliens exist than not.

This is something that I think people say a lot, especially on the internet "I think aliens exist, but I don't think they are visiting us" but thus far I don't think there's a convincing reason put forward to even suppose they exist, at least within the known universe.

Fair enough, I think it would have been better to say, I think aliens have or will exist. The overlap in space and time is just too much to ask.




Well yeah I was having fun there but still I do believe it's the better approach, wether done openly or in secret, wether they're hostile or friendly, no contaminations, no biohazards etc, like NASA tries when visiting space. And if they really just want to say hello it would be as easy as opening a YT channel, for example I do believe it must be easier to send "satelite signals" then come over in person.

Pretty much what needs to happen is a live video feed of Biden performing the macarena with a Reptilian before doing donuts in the White House lawn in a glowing Tic Tac before the general public starts to care.

I don't think it's a coincidence that we're all experiencing very real effects of global warming at the same time that the Government "considers" UFOs...

Military spending, distrust of government organizations, and general distraction/fear mongering. It's not every politician's favorites, but it certainly will help a lot of them.
