Maximum, surely you understand that there is a significant difference between having a functioning AC in trucks, something that just about every car has, and stacking blocks of ice in your truck or constantly buying ice cold water are two very different things, right?
Me complaining that they don't have that very easily obtainable AC in a culture that is removing mandatory water breaks and goading their workers into working so hard that they are afraid to take pee breaks, does not negate anything else I have said. And everyone knows this.
I fully agree that there is a significant difference, which I have said all along. So, then, you agree that what you
meant by AC to begin with was obviously mechanical air conditioning of the type we are all familiar with calling by that name, right? Since we're in clear agreement that "having a functioning AC in trucks" is
not the same thing as "stacking blocks of ice in your truck or constantly buying ice cold water" or any other method used to keep cool before the invention of modern AC. So, then, what you originally said about needing AC to stay alive, which was in the context of UPS' trucks, was
not including those methods, and was wrong.
Look, I'm not trying to give you a hard time here, I just want you to
know that you've equivocated. It's better to just admit you oversimplified, not move the goalposts.
