Trump left a "very generous" letter to Biden.

"Please don't prosecute my many many crimes." + $100,000 in train vouchers.

I heard he left nothing but spite, but begging for pardons seems possible.

I doubt he'll actually come to any punishment at all even if convicted, as it would set the dangerous precedent that corrupt government officials can be tried, convicted and punished for their crimes, which they have spent decades protecting themselves from. I bet neither Biden nor anyone in congress will make any serious attempt to pursue legal action.

It's not as widely known that after Jesus said "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone", he next wisely said "BOO YAH!" as he nailed them between the eyes.

I liked the parade before the wreath-laying, well done to the band and the marchers. I mention it because there were Redcoats there.

At first I was like aahh they're back!

But then they saucily marched past the dais to Yankee Doodle while the leader elegantly gestured towards the stage and I thought: quite right

A very enjoyable scene; I watched it hoping it was an official delegation from London though I think it was a cadet group from the US (hard to search for so I'm not sure)
Those were US army, they wore redcoats as a traditional reference to the US army under George Washington, back when the difference between the British army and US army was more theoretical. As far as I know only one British servicemen was in uniform at Biden's inauguration; Major Keiran Francis from the Royal Signals reserve who assisted the national guard as part of an exchange program. And a picture of Prince Harry

Biden is turning people into pictures! He needs to be stopped before it is too late!

It's illegal to do, bu with right-wingers in the whitehouse, they'll get away with it. 4 more years of this now.

Absolutely disgusting. They know they can get away with it (even more) because people are avoiding shopping, I guess? What are people going to do, not get food? Hey I have an idea, let's do a food cart coop app. We can call it foop caapp

What would help is solidarity. If those colleagues that were not fired would all go on strike, it wouldn't be long until management would face angry mobs of people who cannot order food anymore.

Labor Unions only work if a substantial part of the workforce is a member, or at least silent supporter. They have only one trump card, and that's general strike.
