And regarding security, a properly designed app would be far more difficult to hack compared to defrauding the pieces of paper and archaic machines we are using now.
How do you hack paper? Hanging chads excepted.

You can only hack the tabulating, which is as hackable (if not more) if tabulating numbers from other sources.

And, before you suggest Blockchain...

Look, say what you will about Jeb
(please.  His actions had far-reaching consequences.)

Trump's retweeting Don Jr asking for voting fraud reports to be submitted (djt45.co/stopfraud which redirects to a Trump-Pence branded defendyourballot.formstack.com page) .

Given the amount of personal info it requires (and asks you to choose a state involved, so you can't just say "All of Twitter is being inundated by fraudulent messages by an account called @realDonaldTrump") I suspect it's probably going to be more use in datamining the poor saps who think they're 'being good citizens".

But I'd be intrigued to know what would happen to a reporter's info. Anyone have a throwaway cellphone/etc they can afford to be spammed?  Perhaps tell 'em that there was active vote-buying in the race for mayor of Rabbit Hash, Kentucky..?

How exactly is the average voter supposed to know or prove that voter fraud is occurring? I feel like this is just gathering kruft to present during legal precedings when they go about challenging results.

"Look your honor, we have data that says thousands of people saw fraud!"

Know? Depends on the (conceptual) method of fraud. (And a heavy dose of epistomology.)

Prove? You're invited to upload "Video or Picture of the Incident // Files accepted include: jpg, jpeg, gif, png, pdf, mp3,mp4,wav,au,wmv,avi,mpg,mpeg,zip".  I wonder if they'd accept song_game.ogg?

Oregon / California / Washington have this weird idea where they believe people passed out in broad daylight, on people's door steps and businesses, high on drugs, is peak, quality freedom.

I'm all for not criminalizing some drugs but I've never understood how anyone can look at the results of total decriminalization and think it's a good thing.
Decriminalizing drugs prevents the immense harm that happens when you send people to jail. Yes, the results of total decriminalization is a very good thing.

So one person doesn't have their life ruined, and the prison system doesn't bloat. Meanwhile, they continue being drug addicts on the street where no one is going to arrest them or even attempt to deal with them, while they befoul the community with their behavior. I'd call it a wash, at best. What exactly is the right thing to do with a serial drug abuser who has no plans to reform, and no respect for the society in which they live? Just deal with it? Deal with them sleeping on your door step, shitting on the streets and committing crime to fuel their addiction? There are plenty of stories from the West Coast of regular citizens being sick of the "we can't do anything about it" attitude when it comes to drug addiction and non-prosecution. Fully decriminalizing everything and taking no responsibility for the fallout isn't the answer. Especially when we have the poverty situation in this country to the extent we do.

I'd imagine if someone is committing crimes other than drug addiction, you could arrest them for those crimes.

Plus there's the argument that a healthy society discourages drug use innately, so those types of people would be very rare indeed.
