Of course, that's annualized which means the actual growth is more like 8-9%. And it's coming after the worst quarterly plummet (31.4%) in modern history. But that kind of nuance is lost on many people, especially Trump's base.

And of course, the fun of math is that dropping 31.4% and then going back up 33.1% does not in fact equal a net gain (it gets you back to 91.3% of your starting point).

It's market depreciation on a wide, all-encompassing scale, but not sufficiently to make *ALL* players lose their shirts.  Just enough that the ghouls can feast well.
